Backyard Raised Patio Makeover: Landscaping Time Lapse

This backyard makeover in Windham NH consisted of removing a wood deck, old stone walls, trees, and an old SRW wall. The new landscape design by Interstate Landscape included a new upper and lower patio, a fire pit, night lighting, front yard and back yard retaining walls, a retaining wall to support the shed, a swimming pool, a children’s play area, plantings, and a new lawn.

Materials from Hudson Quarry for the project were: 30 pallets of Anchor Highland and Diamond SRW block, 12 pallets of Genest Acadia paving stones, and a Genest Fire Pit kit. Materials from Swenson Granite include granite pillar caps, and 25 granite steps. 18 Garden Light night lighting fixtures were installed. 60 plants from Freshwater Farms were planted. The sod and seed came from Tim’s Turf and Landscaping Materials. Over 400 yards of fill and over 100 yards of loam were spread.

The job took about a month and the video consists of over 45,000 individual photographs and many hours of editing.

  1. great video! would love to do something like this on our sites! roughly how lond did that job take you?

  2. How much was this? This has to be over $50k!

My house is on a steep hill and I want to add about 3-5 feet out on my cement patio!

  3. Now that's a big job.  Way to much liability for me when it comes to material settling.  Move all rain gutters from the back yard

  4. I get amused. People in your area spend big bucks to make a mountain flat while where I live (Houston, TX area) people spend big bucks to make a mole hill. Keep up the videos.

  5. Nothing like those. 48 inch and 72 inch Roca steps can make big money with those you can do stairs and stoops nothing but great work love it
