    Not a fan of the actual beet – I love the beet tops for salads, I do can pickle beets for other people in the house and they like them spicy. One way I will eat them is – roasted with greens, some goat cheese and a simple vinaigrette. All the best with your garden this coming season 🥂

    P.S. Butter here in Northern California (Safeway, Land o’ Lakes) $9.19 a pound, eggs (Clover) $8.99 a dozen 😬

    You can purchase potatoes grow bags that have a flap you can open to clean your potatoes out of it. They have them on Amazon and a lot of seed companies have them too.

    I love pickled beets. Kids would love them, I make the sweet ones. I live in Oklahoma and eggs are $8.00 a dozen . Keep your chickens and add to them if you can. Keep your flock healthy around here some have bird flu.

    Butter at Harris Teeter land o lake is about $7plus

    So much I want to try to grow. We had a garden growing up and there was nothing like fresh vegetables at meal time. Thinking of trying some things I have never grown before.

    Hello!! I live in East central Minnesota and for eggs they are anywhere from $8.50 to $9.00 a dozen. Not sure on butter. We are looking into blueberry plants too. Have a blessed day!!

    Just came from the dollar store. The exact dill seeds you said you were looking for, I just bought for 0.25. All their seeds are 0.25 per package. I stocked up.

    I just went to mi gardner's store in st Clair yesterday. They say things are selling fast and starting to see some shortages. I personally never wait to get my seeds, not when you have a family to feed!

    I'm in northern CA and eggs are going for $8-10 a dozen,if you can even find them. Its crazy

    Plant any mint in a bed or container that you can control the spreading! Mint is one plant that spreads like wildfire!

    Butter and eggs get higher every time I go to the store. I am thankful for my eggs.
    Good luck with incubation…. I have a very nice incubator, I filled it up twice last year. For every pullet I got,I got 3 roosters… and I am no good at culling,have always been too soft hearted…🥲.
    It is wonderful seeing you so excited about your garden.💞

    Better rethink that mint planting, mints will take over your whole yard. Better to grow in containers.

    In the Seattle area, an 18 egg count carton is $4.89 and butter is $4.79
    Also, would love to see the seeds you pick for this year. I'm already planning and sketching out my garden plans 😊🌱

    I will be adding more chickens to my flock this year as some of my girls are old and no longer laying. Eggs in my neck of Deep East Texas $5.27 for dzn and $7.82 for 18 of the Great Value. As for butter, it is all over the place in price which kills me cause I have not had to purchase butter in nearly 2 years and my stash is almost depleted. Great Value butter is $4.48; Land of Lakes $5.78 and $4.97 for Challenge all at Walmart. Prices vary at other stores.
