How Cocoa Fruit Harvesting and Making Millions of KitKat in Japanese Factory – Cocoa Processing

The original chocolate is the fruit of the cacao tree. This tropical fruit is still the source of all chocolate and cocoa today. Every chocolate candy bar you’ve ever eaten, every chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, fudge brownie, chocolate Easter bunny, chocolate milk, every steaming mug of hot cocoa you’ve ever sipped – it all came from this fruit. Including a famous product, which is kitkat from Japan

  1. They don’t explain how the cacao beans become cocoa and then how chocolate is made.

  2. Seeing them on the farm harvesting the cocoa reminds me of my younger days when we used to do this in Jamaica.

  8. Every single piece has to travel through a long journey before it reaches to melt away in your mouth. Thanks

  9. Could be and would be much more beneficial for the Japanese to setup in conjunction with the Africans here and doing a JV together where the product is grown, harvested and finished. Everybody wins 🙂
