  1. i got the plastic troughs with lids, its a great mini greenhouse on patio for seedlings before i transplant them into it,tomato planter sold out already online, would have liked a potato planter but thought it was expensive for 1 pot, didnt know it was a pack of 4, your facebook links not working for me, unavailable.enjoying all your videos, keeping it real

  2. id reccomend sungold tomato, lovely sweet cherry type that crops heavily. agree the planters are ideal for strawberries.

  3. Went down as soon as I saw your video and it was mostly gone just tools will have to watch the website in future. my son in law wanted the corner planter. great video though really enjoy your channel.

  4. They look pretty good Ray. Lidl certainly have a good selection on garden stuff at the moment. Are you worried about frost for these potato containers outside, or do you think the seed potatoes will be ok at least until the plants come out of the soil? Both products look good though.

  5. Looks good Ray but i think the Potato Tower would be my choice, don't like that cage too much on the Tomato Tower, looks strong and high enough but i think for the weight of a load of Tomatoes, it might just topple it over?
    Stay Safe,

  6. Great vid ray going to try and pop to my local Lidl for potato planter But use two for strawberries and two for potato’s I think

  7. Like a kid in a candy store with a 10 pound note 😂😂 I love garden centre’s almost as much as seed catalogues. Gorgeous sunny day here today so I got a tree moved and set up the patio awaiting the cushions. Hope you and your family are doing well Ray. Thanks for sharing your videos 🐝 safe and stay gardening 🇨🇦✌️💐🥬🥕🧑‍🌾🌶

  8. Makes me think "Tackle Tart" got to have everything looking good whether it's grows anything or not….just as well off make do and mend. lets vote thumbs up TT thumbs down make do

  9. Them spud containers a nice idea ray but to me dont seem deep enough great to see the results great vid all the best take care.

  10. Hi Ray cara potatoes grow big the stems can get 3ft/4ft tall….i have grown them for years good luck see how they go

  11. No sign of the wooden planters in my urban London store and no sign that there ever were. There were 2 tomato planters and some flymos an electric tiller etc thong

  12. We‘ve bought quite a few containers/planters at Lidl over the years and I bought two of the potato towers this year, mainly for the strawberries that need to vacate the beds… (But I am using a couple of the trays for potatoes, too) Haven‘t planted them up yet though.

  13. I'm going to my local lidl on the weekend 🙂 Those tomato planter things look good but I don't think the potato planter is deep enough for spuds.
    Crack on 🙂

  14. great ideas, explanations and video .. would have been good to see the prices of the items used before popping down though

  15. Got some tomato planters today in Lidl in Ireland very happy with them I think they will work very well .
    I got 4 in total
    Thanks for sharing most helpful

  16. I’ve never grown tomatoes I have this product and I’m very interested to how the next process works ie watering how often etc

  17. I enjoyed your video. I got one of those tomato planters, i'm finally going to plant it up, now the rain seems to have stopped. I have 4 little cordon tomato plants, that I bought from the garden centre, would I put the compost directly into the tomato planter? And how many of the plants should I put in? Are all four too many? I have never grown tomatoes before, so aren't really sure! Thanks very much. 😃
