Coca cola lobbied our government to have coke products not only be allowed to be purchased by food stamps but listed by the government as a healthy food. They won! The corporations are buying real foods to be destroyed from our lives and their products being labeled healthy. Government is so stupid and desperate they are doing whatever they want. Only way to stop them is not buying the products.
My Aunt in Texes also said her state is stopping the extra food stamps. She expressed it will hurt her budget. I spoke to family members and we will be sending her care packages and money.
Just wait until the woman who won't eat beans and rice has to eat beans and rice because she is blowing the help she's getting
When I lived in Peru I bought bags of dry dog food and supplemented it with a boiled mixture of carrots, chicken, greens and rice. They ate everything with gusto!

I put back food that was individual in nature. Meaning I didn't get the ready made meals, but the different ingredients. I can make a lot from them. Like chicken and rice, beef soft tacos, breakfast potatoes, omelets, beef stew and pizza.
Also throw in some sweet potatoes for the dog, good for them and filling. I've already canned greenbeans, carrots, sweet potatoes for him. I can mix it in with his dog food to make it stretch further.
It is my opinion that food stamp restrictions are deliberate prepper restrictions. Enforcement of compliance thru government limitation for food stamps might lead to general restrictions of prepper purchases.
Buy the livers, gizzards,cheap meat's, watch the veggies because dogs can't have a few, if you have cats, look into what both dogs and cats can have,I have two dog's, my daughter two cats and one dog,I save the necks and stuff from turkeys, whatever and have been canning up for them as well as us, also bake up the bones and skin, until you can crumble the skin, and break up the bone's, crush into powder, not only to put back for pet's, but garden as well.Keep in mind dog's can have some grains, veggies, and fruit's, but cats need meat.

Our family was on assistants for a little over a year when my husband lost his job. Our family went from a 100k income to 0$ overnight, and he was only a week out of back surgery. During that time, my husband started self contracting, and we would have starved without that help. On the other hand, I know families that have been on assistance for 3 and 4 generations. The system works when it isn't abused❤️

A restaurant in my neighbourhood has one of those robot waiters. The server accompanies it (for now) and hands out the dishes. It has a screen in front with a cute face and plays music as it rolls along. Most people seem delighted at the novelty, but I’m horrified.
One of the big giveaways with these messages that pop up on people's computers, Autumn, is that many times these messages will have very poor English. In the example you give they say your account has been disable instead of disabled. And by this time everyone is now smart enough to NOT click on ANY links they're not sure of. Be especially wary and dare I say even a bit paranoid with your e-mail. NO BANK! NO GOVERNMENT agency will send you an e-mail asking you for your personal information. Doesn't matter if it looks like it's coming from your ISP. Or the FBI. Or the IRS. Or even the bank you deal with. DO NOT CLICK ON IT!! If you're not sure then phone the agency in question and ask them if they were trying to get hold of you. The internet has become the wild, wild west and those scummy little hackers that are one level above pond scum are actually quite clever little tadpoles and can be quite dangerous for the general public.

I’ve got a 20lb spitz and a 50 lb English Shepard, They get a dish of cheap dog food a day but they get lot’s of whatever we are eating too. They are healthy and happy. Dog food got hard to find/too expensive for us so had to just feed them our food, it’s cheaper on us. Take care Autumn and Autumn fur babies.
My friend has a dog that was losing weight, and she saw where it would be good to feed it raw uncooked chicken, bones and all. Her dog dis an amazing transformation and has great hair, eyes, and energy. She has minimal waste as her body absorbs everything. She started feeding her cat the same way, and same thing !

I'm prepped for my cats. I bought canned food when it was cheaper and I have been rotating it. I also have plenty of dry food. I rotate it as well. I have two cats. I buy Meow Mix and Iams. I feed the cats tuna and lickable snick snacks.

Last night I made chicken alfredo with the alfredo sauce from Dollar Tree. Popped in 2 cans of chicken (white chicken 10 oz each). Used whatever noodles I had on hand. Very nice, very filling and tasty.

Anytips on lamb dog food that is price friendly brand or recipe?.we found Great danes don't do well with beef at all. you don't want a human sized dog with the runs. lamb seems to be the one meat that has zero issues.

Lol had to laugh went and bought a bag of cat and dog food yesterday and went into sticker shock cat food went from $17.89 to $31.00 dog food went from $30.00 to $60.00 came home started looking up st food but I'm not sure if it will be cheaper to make it or not but will be trying it, I also thought about going to the butcher, look up recipes for your cats on pintrest , you'll find special recipes for special diets.
