  1. We are in the heaven because our weather this weeks is and was 34-40 during day 👍but at night still in 10 s in Minneapolis 😏

  2. Robbie, I absolutely love how brilliant you are! I have some old used 3/4 inch pvc pipe that will work for this. I never would have thought of this. I have a question. Do you have any videos on strawberries, the different varieties, and how prepare a container to plant them in? Thank you for sharing this awesome idea!

  3. Hi Robbie, ordered the tubing yesterday, got it today 😊super excited to put it use like you’re showing us. I told hubby yesterday… I swear Robbie doesn’t sleep at night, because she comes up with the most brilliant ideas, lol…keep them coming ! I did have a question, but now I can’t think of it 😂. Hugs

  4. To cold in East Central Illinois to think about planting, but I am starting to compost cardboard. paper and what tablet scraps I have. Since I live in a small town I am going to ask the local grocery store if I can have past due date on produce.

  5. Your ideas are always wonderful, and actually work very well. I've been watching you for years now and appreciate your channel. Thanks for all your great ideas.

  6. Robbie it was super warm today here in Ohio, I know spring is coming the crocus are blooming in my lawn.

  7. Eat what you grow. I love that saying. I also love the irrigation tubing idea for creating a trellis over my containers. I'd forgotten the anxiety that I run into at the beginning of the season as I wait for seeds to germinate. This is the first time that I am using heating mats to germinate seeds. I'm so uncomfortable because I don't know what I'm doing. How many baggies do I put on the mat? Do I have to add a few drops of water to the baggies? I didn't know what I didn't know until I got them stated. How often do I check on them? Etc. Etc. Etc. There are so many people growing stuff now, and so many channels on YouTube. I need a beginners gardener book for dummies!
    I love you Robbie! 💖

  8. thank you Robbie for another creative idea. I will try that. I might try to rig something up so I can grow a cucumber in a tote. You have set my mind thinking.

  9. Could / Would you please do a video on how you attach the tubing in a flowerpot(flower shop flower bucket) I already doubled sum of them to big taller, but others I haven't done those completely jus soldered the bottom /sides . I'd like to use those with the tubing and hopefully create a trellis effect when placed side by side perhaps in a diamond shape Sooas could access from all sides whilst having stability for the tomatoes bell peppers cucumbers asian pears and freash cut no roots pineapples that I'll be growing in spring yay 3wks 2go

  10. So many great ideas from you two! Thank you so much! I got some of the tubing and started to use some…! Can’t wait to do more!

  11. It will be great this spring cause I will use tubing early in all my totes and not these funny trellis I had made last spring that I didn't have that tubing! But we can use it in the winter to make some totes like greenhouses 💡
I did that in a tomato plant that I have with some plastic instead of tulle and flowering all over!!!
Thank you so much Robbie 👏 Gardening with you is so much fun and enjoyable ❣️🌻🌟

  12. Add plastic sheeting all around all 4 stakes for mini green house 😊 to warm soil for seedlings or seeds

  13. Robbie! I freaking love your approach to gardening and all of these pratical ideas. I gave away tubing last year because I bought some and had no use for it. Such a great idea.

  14. We get wacky california weather as well just like the San Joaquin Valley

  15. ROBBIE you think I can start to grow tomatoes seeds outside during February 15 in california near San Joaquin Valley?

  16. robbie i have 5 raised metal beds that i am trying to fill -could i use this method if i set the tubing down the sides to the bottom and then added fill around them- i do not want to drill holes in my metal–do you think it would work if all the soil was holding up the tubing???

  17. So you are zip tying the tubing to the corners. I'm think that my plants won't be in the corners to stake up. So do you use string around the stakes and use the string to hold up the plants? I'm thinking that is what you are doing. I am still new to vegetable gardening. I've only been learning to grow veggies since 2020 and I remember that my broccoli and cauliflower were falling over so I needed to stake them up. Thanks for sharing all of your helpful videos.

  18. I had an old hose that was 1/2 inch that I used instead of buying irrigation tubing. Works great also. Thanks for this suggestion.
