  1. Thank you Robbie for the tips and advices ❣️totes-tulle-tubing 3t's 👏 I like it!!!
I can't wait the weather to warm up to prepare my balconies for the spring -summer. You helped me having a little bit more of experience 🤗
Thank you so much Robbie ❣️🌟🌻

  2. Im excited to see what new ideas you have, you always have such unique and helpful ways to make it easier to grow food! BTW Im hoping my 2 year old papayas can come back from a hard freeze, they lost most of the trunks i dont know if I should cut off the dead part, or leave some for protection

  3. Thank you, you've just inspired me on an easier way of setting up some raised beds that can be dismantled and stored away afterwards.

  4. Hey Robbie I start to use the tulle and the irrigation pipe it works very well thanks for your info, but our totes are very expensive over $75 the tulle is $10 a yard here in my country my sister bought it from Indiana 99c a yard, and yes I also have the soldering iron to work with great ideas Robbie I'm still looking for a cheaper tote

  5. FYI – I learned yesterday from Morag Gamble's site that she stores her ginger etc over the winter in a bucket of sand – plain sand that you'd use for a kid's sandbox. Just wash the dirt off the ginger, let them dry for a day or so and bury them in the sand. She said it keeps them fresher and better tasting than freezing them. Also, easier and less work.

  6. This year I want to harvest 2000 pounds. But I need enough variety to make it all my diet that is plant based.

WRT not buying stuff. Nobody can be 100% self sufficient and, like you said, we need to support other people in their income.
However, if one doesn't have the money, there's ways to get what one needs without money. or much less money than most people will spend.

  7. Robbie, i love your way of gardening!!!! I am from the netherlands and will start my gardeningprojects the way you do. I will keep you informed. Thank you so much for all your ideas and encouragement. Love Naomi🥰🥰

  8. Can old tin coffee cans be used to plant veggies.? Concern about the metal leaching anything not good if any?

  9. This is awesome! Perfect timing! Love what you are doing and the instructions are clear and easy to follow! Can't wait to see more! 👍👍👍👍

  10. Don’t overwhelm yourself, finish projects you start. I put 3 things on my to do list. Better that way and get things done than be overwhelmed and procrastinate and get nothing done!

  11. Robbie I love all your videos! I learn something from you every day! I get inspiration from you/thanks for all you do!! Give Kitty a hug from me. 16:10

  12. Robbie, really love your channel. You should do a "starter pack" episode. It would be neat to see you put all of your ideas together for one to get started.

  13. Hi Robbie! Hope you get a chuckle out of this…a good friend of mine works in the 'produce dept' of a small Kansas chain of markets. Depending on the season, I will bring in (incognito) a sample of my "garden babies" for comparison to the "corporation" selections.
well, after almost 3 years I see signs like "locally grown non-GMO and Organic" in the produce section. It's good the store (at least ours) listens to their customers. 😉 Best wishes, Doc

  14. I just bought fruit protector bags online. They aren't expensive, in my opinion. I got 50 for about $14 for the small, and I got two more sizes up, very large. They cover fruit, branches, or a whole plant. They have "purse string" ties. I found that if I cut the ties to make two, (it's tied in a loop) I can make a bow or double bow and cinch it really tight. The material is made out of synthetic material, very tiny holes. I have a couple around two planters with tomato seedlings in them. I use wooden kabob holders for supports in the inside. It keeps the hornworms out. So far so good. The squirrels are finally leaving the bagged fruit for me. Nothing is 100%, but they are learning that the bags don't taste good. I leave plenty of loquats for them on the top where I can't reach anyway. I am using them on my little orange tree, too, once the fruit is set. Make sure to not cover blossoms, or they won't get pollinated.
