A new woodland garden is coming to the entrance gate, but before we can begin planting we have to move some soil. Join us as we share with you how we are preparing this space to house a new garden that I’ve long wanted to install.

  1. This will be a fun space to develop, you got me dreaming of new spaces around our property here in KY zone 6B. Love what you guys do friend!

  2. Yet another beautiful space in the works! Outstanding!

Are you also working on the PW garden at the nursery? I wondered if you’re designing that yourself also?

  3. This is going to be a beautiful grand entrance to your property! We are really looking forward to seeing this develop! 😀

  4. Eek! How exciting! I continually see “new flower beds” around my property too 😊 this year I started a native woodland garden on the east side of our property.

  5. Hi! As a gardener in WNC zone 6b who lives on a wooded lot, I'm really looking forward to following this project!

  6. We have a steep wooded slope that goes from the backyard to a saltwater shoreline. We want to do something, but no idea what and be maintenance free. We are older and winter in FL.

  7. Margie kc ks. I have 2 ruby slippers and they have a beautiful white bloom in spring and perfect rosy red in late summer into fall. They are my favorite paniculata.

  8. I planted a woodland garden last year. Can't wait until you start planting. I know how hard it is planting under trees.

  9. Sounds great. Exciting. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  10. Hi Jenny 🌺it will amazing and beautiful view of fothergilla with other plants . Jenny you can add pougainvillea plant to the group of plants that will be growing . Have anice day. 🌺🪻🌺

  11. Don’t we all wish we had a Bobcat and maybe a Jerry and Jackson to help us! Camilla’s will love this area, I have some on the edge of the woods and they are in full bloom, they may look delicate, but they are tough! 🌺🌺

  12. It will be interesting to see your choice of plant combinations since the front portion of the bed is sunny. Whatever you choose, I am sure it's going to look great! On a different note, I know you take care of Brynna, but I get a bit nervous when she gets close to the diggers. 🌼🐕

  13. Whats the best way to clear land with a bobcat? I have 38 acres-mostly trees, but the property came with bobcat. Where do I even begin??

  14. I would love this area full of woodland plants, azaleas, hellebores and daffodils. And I love your 4 legged foreman!!!

  15. If you and Laura lived close, you two would have a amazing areas! It’s going to look 👀 so great!

  16. Just so exciting to be planting in such a gorgeous area, with those magnificent trees, and having a dream come true is just an added bonus. Lovely to share the whole development and see the choices of plant life. Super exciting.

  17. I am looking forward to the transition. Afternoon coffee has been added to my daily routine.

  18. so looking forward to this space coming together. wondering if building some columns, either of brick, slatestone, even dry stacked stone with a large stone cap and topped with vintage copper containers with a large evergreen feature and seasonal changes around, all weathered and looking older, more rustic, informal or deconstructed formal, between the fence and oaks, nothing specific🙃 but that's just my eye😃🌲🪴🌳 no matter what, it's going to be amazing!

  19. How exciting! I can definitely relate to the struggles of planting around tree roots and dry shade. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress here!
