At 9:40 , you could use the string to tie off horizontally to add support for the plants as they grow .. like florida weave, or whatever it is called. I did that last year in my containers using three tomato stakes and twine.
But, I did get some tubing, so I can add more height for the tomato plants.

I'm going to try a tip I got online from a backyard gardener–Dollar tree hula hoops come in various sizes, including one that's quite large, which can be cut easily to size . Curved pieces can be used to hold up netting to protect plants, by doing kind of the reverse of what you've just shown – stakes in the soil, then the curved tubing. And when I looked the other day I noticed that the largest one is better quality than the rest – it seems like it's actually PVC pipe! Of course I would have purchased the largest anyway, but now I have an extra incentive to do so!

Lowe's has fiber glass rebar, that you can make garden stakes out of, it's colored pink, I don't why pink, concrete guys have been using this in place of steel re-bar because it's alot lighter in weight.
They only sell them in 10' lengths, you can cut them at 2' and get 5 pieces for 7 bucks or any length you want, these will last a lifetime and never buy wooden ones ever again.
