  1. Brilliant initiative well timed for national gardening week. Love your reasons for growing your own, just got Liz's notification so off there now 😉

  2. My reasons for growing our own were the same: environmental. We eat a lot of veg and produce a lot of veg waste which now goes back into the compost to grow new veg eventually. It used to go in the bin. Have you tried a Bokashi bin? We have no food waste now at all! Great video x

  3. I’ve stated to others that, “UK gardeners are rock stars!” Seriously I’m so inspired by you all! Enjoying the stories over here in the US. 🌱🥳

  4. Lovely video Erica and brilliant reasons for growing your own food. This is a great celebration you and Liz are doing for gardening week and I'm really enjoying watching everyone's videos.
    Take care
    Becky

  5. Erica this is such a good video. The pumkin that turned orange is brilliant. I love how enthusiastic you are about gardening. It's great that you're always motivating us. Is there any chance you can please share a link as to where we can find the heritage seeds please, keep up the good work. 💖🌺🌱🌻🌹🌞

  6. Nice! Year 2 my strawberry patch produces a whole lb of berries every day! Finally because my daughter eats so many strawberries. Lovely video the birds are beautifil.

  7. Hi Erica. So great of you and Liz to organise this collab. It was interesting to hear the reasons why you grow. You are so right about the food miles and it was great to hear about the heirloom varieties. It’s really good to see what everyone is coming up with. Take care. Nick

  8. Love yours and Liz's channels. Ask liz also but I wont be back from the UK to Washington State until Middle of May. Will it be too late to seed my pumpkins?. Washington is almost same climate as UK

  9. Your a real shining star and must be inspiring many others to do the same. Every little helps. You just seem to get more enthusiastic every week. Thanks for everything LWPP. 🥁❤

  10. Thank you so much for organising this wonderful celebration of veggie growing! It's has been such a treat to watch everyone's videos……..what comes shining through from all of them is the pure joy folk get from growing their own. I love your passion and enthusiasm! Long may we all grow our own……and spread the joy to others. 🙂
