  2. I'm 73 and now have 52-18 gal totes, 15-5 gal buckets, and lots of food grade pots, tubs, and anything I can find. Ha ALL thanks to your awesome suggestions and instructions. Just bought MORE totes, so reckon this Okie gal has her work cut out again. Happy gardening, Robbie and Gary. Thank you SO much for all of your fantastic educational videos.

  4. I dont have lid for the totes I bought So I just have to just cover with plastic but I wont be able to take it on and off maybe get a cardboard as frame πŸ‘πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ thanks Robbie fantastic tips, ur always have ideas 😊β™₯οΈπŸ‘

  5. Robbie; thanks! ❀ I was so hoping to catch this video. Can’t thank you enough. Love ❀❀❀your great πŸ’‘ ideas. ❀❀❀

  6. I've been having issues getting the centers out of the lids – arthritis.. so I have a few containers that I put the tulle under and tied it off at the top so they look like gift baskets

  7. hi robbie πŸ€—
    great diy greenhouse!
i dont do starts very often, but ive been using a setup similar to this because of my limited space outside (and zero space inside) πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ tfs

  8. Hi Robbie I definitely need to be making these, it's starting to warm up here, thank you so much for sharing.

  9. Robbie, This is one of the best videos about seed starting! I love how you have laid it out step by step. So helpful.

  10. I live in NY i.might try this next winter for winter sowing. Like people do with the milk/water jugs

  11. If tops tight enough you could always lay the plastic over the container and snap the lid on

  12. Just curious, but why don't you add kitchen scraps to the totes with seedlings? I don't think you said why.

  13. Howdy Robbie and Kitty!πŸ‘‹ I've been using totes as greenhouses for a few yesrs. I don't put soil in the bottom. You are right…the plants love them. My peppers were super happy this year. They grew quickly!πŸ‘©πŸΎβ€πŸŒΎ

  14. Thank you for adding the link for those hi-top lids. I was going berserk last eve trying to locate the video on how you made them.
Our biggest pest here are the flea beetles. They made their own cafe' of my brassicas last season. I think if I double up the tulle so it's not completely in line to the other piece…I should be able to keep those annoying munchers out the entire life cycle of my broccoli, brussels, & cabbage plants.
And just to let you know, the broccoli I was sending to Ms. Kitty in dreams has lemony flowers now. You mentioned brassicas NOT needing pollinators which is grand. I just wanted to tell ya I had a lot of beneficial creatures enjoy visiting those broc flowers last year nonetheless. Take care, ~ Covah

  15. How cold can it get and have your greenhouses still work? My weather has been crazy I want to try this but I'm worried that if it freezes my plants will die. I love your video can't wait for the next one.

  16. I will definitely have to try this. While I don't like the idea of cutting the tops off of the lids, I know they are reusable 😁. I start a lot of seeds indoors and it's just gotten to be a pain to up pot, harden off, etc. I will still do most veggies indoors, but this year I am going to start most of my annuals with your method. Thank you for sharing!

  17. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ awesome job πŸ‘ Thank you Robbie for the great tips ❀️ you've made mini greenhouses for every situation, cheap and easy. So simple πŸ’– thank you so much for the great video β£οΈπŸ™πŸŒ»

  19. Robbie, I am watching lots of your videos. I love that you saved a beautiful little hummingbird. I love that your little fur baby helped you find the hummingbird. I can't wait till they get here in PA. I have all my feeders washed and ready to go. Can't wait to see them. Hopefully, I'll have more this year. God bless you and your family!

  20. Thank you for your great suggestions … you are a blessing to many my friend; watching from Colorado, Front range!

  21. I love it,,❀ I have not had good luck with the little square seed trays. This is awesome!
