NEW Day in my Life/ Sourdough Flower Pot Bread, Planting Hydrangeas, Matching Dresses, Gardening

Welcome friends!
I’m so excited to spend the day together! There’s a lot of FUN things on the agenda! We’ll be making sourdough flower pot bread, visiting a local nursery (and planting hydrangeas), and I’ll take you along on a super fun little photoshoot with my girls in the fog. I hope you’re in for a good time 😉 What’s on your list?
With love, Steph

RECIPES:
SOURDOUGH DINNER ROLLS:
1/2 cup warm water
1 T raw honey
2 T yeast
2 eggs
3 T avocado oil
1 cup Sourdough Starter (can be discard)
1 tsp salt
3 – 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Mix warm water, yeast, and honey. Let rest 5 mins or until bubbly. Add eggs, avocado oil, sourdough starter, salt, and 3 cups flour (adjusting flour depending on starter). Run mixer for 8 minutes (be careful not to add to much flour before it’s “kneaded” for at least 5 mins. This running time can make all the difference!). Place in greased bowl, cover with saran wrap and let rise 1/2 hour. Shape into rolls and place in seasoned terra cotta pots or cookie sheet. Let rise 30 mins. Bake at 375 for 20 mins.

  2. Your crepe myrtles will bloom in the summer, but will then make seed pods. If you want a rebloom you can deadhead the seed pods.

  3. Can you tell me the name of the tree at time stamp 1:45 to 1:52 and 2:01 to 2:02? It looks like the little flowers are a light pink. So very pretty. Thank you for another wonderful video.

  8. Amish country in PA is simply so beautiful. There’s nothing to compare it’s beauty and peacefulness to. We love taking day trips there, enjoying whoopie pies and the lovely people who take great pride of their land.

  11. I call them rubber scrapers, that's what I was told in home economics class in middle school. Please do another what you eat in a day, in your future day in the life. Beautiful video 🌼

  12. What do you use for insecticide? We have a ridiculous ant and spider problem (talking HUGE black windows) and I’ve got a little one year old who I’d love to have help me garden this year, but am so worried about the spiders especially (I’m terrified of ants lol). We used a regular spray from Walmart last year and it did not cut it. I’d love to go more natural but I also really want these spiders and ants fully gone so I don’t have to worry!
