  1. Very helpful! My wife let me build a small track behind my shed last year. The only issue is it's on a hill, and very few buggys can make it around. It's kinda turned into a crawler track lol.

  2. once my ground thaws, I'll be making my own track out back. Will be going for the 6 foot lanes since it'll only ever be like 2-3 racers (following your advice) and i really like the spray paint mark-out idea to help with the initial sketch of where to start working! I'll be going in with the tiller to chop up the sod and I'm prepared for a lot of raking 🙂 Thank you for this video! The hype is real over here haha

  3. It is a lot of work to do one and to maintain it but it really is nice to stroll out in your backyard and turn some laps anytime you like! I agree working the layout to maintain a good lane width is key and both looks better but also makes it easier to drive! My only regret is the massive table top I made on mine as it got a little out of hand and it a pain in the rear to maintain! It also is going to be a nightmare to modify so I live with it! The small moveable jumps you did are a way better choice!

  4. What a great video! Makes me want to go make a track now, but probably would need to begin with negotiations with the wife first, ha ha!
Lots of work for sure, and you managed to videotape it, much appreciated! Very inspiring!

  5. Great build and very value tips. I'm not a fan of matts, but I hadn't expected that amount of dirt thats needed. I like the jump version with the landing table, too.

  6. Great video.. I wish my wife would let us till up a track. Grayson has a plan to run his go kart in the yard enough to wear the grass out to act like a track lol..

  7. Really great build tips and ideas for a backyard track, im thinking of changing the layout on mine and maybe build it on my other property.

  8. Nice build tutorial! I just finished building a similar size backyard track with just hand tools. Crab grass, thick hawaiian clay, and junk backfill for soil made it quite the endeavor. Tried to incorporate drainage features like rock filled trenches leading to dry well, but the clay will only handle so much water at a time. Survived the first big rain storm and quite happy with how it turned out. I used hollow blocks and rock as the foundation of the jumps/landings, but it does indeed require more dirt than you would think. In the end, it's very rewarding to rip your rc's around a prepped track in the convenience of your own home.

  9. Great video sharing your journey brother! You are an inspiration to us back yard RCers!

  10. It's a lot of work indeed, but it's worth it! I've always wanted a backyard rc track, but i don't have a backyard, lol!

  11. Great video fella, that has turned out awesome! 👌
Great detail and handy information for anyone looking at going down this route.
Unfortunately my garden isn't large enough, but I am now inspired and currently looking for some land to build one on!
    😊 👍 👍 👍

  12. The family area reminds me of one of the hairpins at Circuit De Monaco on its off season when its not a track but a regular ol road for the public 😂

  13. I love your RC channel I was wondering if you were going to ever do a team associated gold pan 3 gear on your track. I have seen the video when do all the RC tens but you never compared it with the tamia cars.thanks
