The farmer behind me is afraid this year will be very dry again. We’re already 4 inches deficient in rain this year. I’m praying for good growing conditions for all of us. Hope to come up and see your farm in person sometime soon! Your south central PA neighbor.

That's the reason you cook a ham. Just so you can make ham and bean soup. Made a batch on Monday myself. Pea soup today. Had lots of ham left over.

Agrred , this is best method to plant seeds in the greenhouse , any other method will take more time then this

It so fun to see how the season starts and all the way to harvest time. The process is amazing and we learn so much. Last season was the first time I saw a complete season. This year it seems like you are planting more !!
How far are you from the Lancaster area. We try to go Pennsylvania from Vermont. We camp for a couple of weeks. We bring home meat and fresh veggies to process. Your food produce In Pennsylvania are a much better price than here.
I’m retired. I’d love a job working with those nice ladies.
What do you do with silage that remains after wintering?
I love to see you eat at the table together. Also the food on the table in bowls and platters. My husband and I still do the same. So many families don’t do this.
