I find the indoor containers without holes(cachepot) preferable. I can water without worry that they will leak everywhere.
your awesome brother.
If I may… I recommend you get the basil leaves with the pointy end (thai). they are a whole other level!
Inspiring! I have 1 question:
give as much light as possible; can they be placed in direct sunlight, or should they be shielded from it?
What are some soil tips you can share to a rookie? I am yet to start my garden with Serenity Herbal seeds and I am not sure whether I need just one type of soil for all these herbs I want to plant.
There are no words for how inspiring you are. Homeschooling my youngest (add) son, I'm always looking to tier academics with life skills. This video is perfect.
just get on with it ffs.
doing a talk on herbs in a couple of weeks and this was so useful and informative. Thank you!
Love the way you teach!
I was just wondering about the part where I saw you put the brown paper bag in the container. What is the purpose of doing this?
I keep reptiles so I had started breed my own mealworms and have lots of frass, what are your thoughts on using it as fertilizer?
I've had great success with basil. Just 1 pot from the store and a bag of compost, gave me (last year) 2 full freezer bags of fresh basil. I of course repotted each plant it's own container, 10 of them, and it was more than I could use plus freeze. This year I'm trying out chives, they always seem to elude my green fingers and refuse to grow big, they are always super thin. It's starting to annoy me 🙂
Do you put a paper bag at the bottom of your pots? What’s your name as well? Thank you for a great video
Ah so the trick is to make holes in the bottom of the cans. Now we know what to do with all these soup and vegetable cans we have piling up!
Very informative vid!
Thanks a million!
I broke a rule of not bringing soil to house and I learned the lesson 🙁
1. Basil
2. Cilantro
3. Rosemary
4. Thyme
5. Chives
6. Arugula
7. Oregano
8. Dill
Most probably know, but it has to be a pretty bright window, imo. I tried in an indoor kitchen window, but I only had partial sun, and the cilanto/scallions were not happy, so moved outside or other windows. Basal is the easiest, fastest to grow.
Thank you. Great information. 😊
The dialogue is so cringe lok
