  1. Great video! I feel like we all have a container similar to that wheel barrel that we hold onto for that whimsy plant arrangement. Lovely as always!

  2. Lobelia always quits blooming for me part way through the summer. I love the look but shy away from it for that reason. What do you do to keep it happy and blooming?

  3. So excited to see ho this looks in a few week! I think I might do this in late May here up in Indiana!

  4. It will be interesting to see if those sky blue lobelia can hold their own in this combination.

  5. Hey Jenny! Could you please do a tropical flower pot! I have a pool and would love to have some ideas! ❤

  6. Jenny I’ve only found your channel recently and am so happy you’re relatively local. Your videos are packed with great detail and helpful information for me as a new gardener. Thank you !!

  7. Great it’s going to look fantastic. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  8. This is one of my favorite containers in your garden/nursery. Love the name of your wheel barrel, too.🥰

  9. Hi Jenny 🌺the plants looks so beautiful in wheel barrow. Jenny you can paint the wheel barrow in any stuitable color . Have awonderful day. 🌻🌺🌻

  10. I have an old wheelbarrow that converted to a planter. It's a highlight to my garden. Looking forward to decking it out with some colorful annuals soon. 😀

  11. Coming home after work and finding a new posting fro Gardening with Creekside always makes the day better! Thank you for another wonderful video and the inspiration it brings!

  12. One tip that your fans would appreciate!

Please comment as often as u can on heat tolerance whenever you talk about a plant. Us southern gardeners always have to take that into account. Sometimes I want to try a plant but hesitate because I worry about it's heat tolerance.

    Thanks! Absolutely love ur channel!

  13. Jenny, I just followed your suggestion of 1/3 compost in the bottom and the rest potting soil. (I tried it last year, too, but in a much larger container – no drainage hole, that was intentional.)
It's so heavy! (Before watering.) I planted 8 violas that came in 3" pots. I'll drag it to my front door, but until our temperatures regulate I think it best to bring it in at night.
Where I usually buy Land & Sea compost they had a different product, Purple Cow. I think it's made in Wisconsin. I really liked how crumbly it was, no clumps. It contains earthworm 🪱 castings. Should be good.
Ooh! I have to report on my garlic 🧄 First attempt growing it. The other day I saw shoots about 4" tall growing through the straw. After I divide my nearby rhubarb (the main reason I got the compost), I'll spread some on my garlic bed. This is thrilling!
I've got another large container to arrange. I went a little wild at the garden center so have a box filled with stock, lobelia, bi-color green on green vinca vine, nemesia, celosia, creeping Jenny, begonia, wire vine, an unusual fern.
This gal has been couped up too long.

  14. Thank you for sharing beautiful and amazing plants collection lovely Nursery love watching a video they're very interested in plants

  15. I just moved from the piedmont area! Southern Pines, Pinehurst, and then the Star/Asheboro area.
Southern Pines is my favorite place on Earth. Great gardening and nurseries, great people, great money… I am trying to get back there eventually! Still happy for the moment in my little nook here in southern Ohio.

  16. I’m still using my rusty wheel barrow. The front tire is hanging on by a single bolt and tire falls off sometimes. And my rake & hoe both broke last year, so now I’m building gardens my knees.
But I plan to use my wheel barrow in the garden for the same thing someday.

  17. The wheelbarrow is beautiful. . .My son is coming home from the Airforce and we are trying to spruce up the property and your wheelbarrow idea is perfect for my old wheelbarrow in the front yard. I hope it looks just as beautiful. Thank you for sharing

  18. Do you have something similar in color for the Lobelia that isn’t toxic to dogs? Both my dogs like to nibble on my plants. This arrangement is beautiful!

  19. Hi beautiful awesome work💖💟❤💟❤💟❤❤💟❤💟🌹🌹🌹🌷🌺🌷🌺🌷🌺🌹🌹👍👍👍👍👍👍

  20. Hi! This gives me an idea for a wire garden cart I have. What can I line it with before filling with flowers?

  21. Ok soo cute😍-Pollinator magnet for sure!! I’m thinking you need to add Jackson to the plan for next year because his name is on that wheelbarrow after all!!!😉😁

  22. The barrel came out lovely. I know you're wearing gloves, but I'm wondering if you worry about the rusty element. ..
