RUSTIC WALL CLOCK: simple and quick

After reading a comment from @riversidewoodworks, I decided to make a clock. I used some scrap plywood, an old sieve (apparently called a riddle) and a cheap clock mechanism from amazon (links below).

My aim with this project was to create something to suit our home without spending any money. I obviously had to buy the clock mechanism, but everything else was thrown together from stuff I had in the garage.

  1. Very nice. Don't know if I've seen someone make a clock, at least not recently. I think I'm going to have to whip one together myself soon. Another great video, keep it up!

  2. Evenin mate! I have just watched 26 seconds of this video and I already know that it is going to be AWESOME! 😀 Anything that proves the Mrs wrong abour your "oh it might come in handy" things is destined to be awesome 😀
Looking forward to the rest of the video now 🙂

Ok so now I´ve watched the whole thing, and I was right, it was awesome 🙂 I really like your videos mate, so down to earth and simple and I just love it!
Where in the UK do you live? I have always wanted to visit but I have only been to a little shithole of a town called Drogheda in Ireland, and it was utterly miserable… So if I´m ever going to the uk again it would be fun to go to your area and maybe meet up for a pint and discuss some serious fine woodworking 🙂

  3. Is the actual fascination for burning everything anything to do with the type of food your wife cook's you 😅😅😂, it could be a cry for help or bad indigestion!!!
Oh yeah the co_k turn out good sorry clock is the word I was supposed to use.

  4. Strokes of imagination… careful using that term in the context of c*ocks 😂

Nice work as per, I like the little foliage decoration – does a good job tieing the clock face in with the surround

  5. Nice video! The 3d version is a trapezoidal prism, I think you could have got away with not weighing down the hour markers the glue alone would have held them and prevented any moving. In the final shot you had the grain of ply at like a 45 angle was that intentional?
