I decided to try out these vertical planters that hand on walls or fences to see if I could make a “wall of flowers!” I can just imagine by mid season its going to be amazing and I can’t wait to see how this experiment works out! 🌸 Enjoy!

  1. Do you have any succulent garden areas in your garden? Great for your zone I believe. I watch Laura Eubanks on YouTube, she is the CA succulent master. She does succulent arrangements on her fences.

  2. ❤Love it! What a beautiful way to bring the eye up when there’s no more room at floor level. Your fence is beautiful and I love the paint color, I like that the fence has its areas to shine as well. Your garden is amazing and inspiring, I’m in your zone, not far from you and I’m over here taking notes 📝. I love the creativity

  3. I feel like you will be trimming those everyday, one bubble gum will swallow all of those pockets; I didn’t even buy bubble gum this year because I get frustrated trimming it every week!

  4. Love it! I also went out on a limb and painted my fence the same color. Game changer! 💕💕💕My supertunias from last year just started blooming again and are bigger than last year. I can’t believe it! They must love our Northern California climate. They have become perennials!

  5. I did this once but with a closet door shoe hanger! Just cut holes at the bottom of each pocket for drainage !

  6. It’s a great idea and going to be gorgeous, I would definitely cut them all back by a 3rd so they will bush out, (proven winners recommendations) only fill every other pocket and spread the hangers away from each other about 2 feet. I know it is only a experiment , and I hope it works out for you! 👍🌺🌸

  7. Beautiful! I agree, I would separate them because they will definitely grow and you’ll have a much larger filled area.

  8. Thank you for the wonderful video. Do you have a video on how you did your vertical plants on your fence and what exactly you used. Love it and want to try it on my fence. Thank you in advance.

  9. If you wanted to save a bit of money, the supertunia’s are so easy to propagate! You can just pluck off a small piece and stick it into the soil and they will root in and explode in no time. I like doing that with my containers so that they fill in more and I don’t have to buy as many as I used to because those $5 pots can add up fast in a garden my size anyways!
