  1. We have hostas that were here when we bought our home they are in a triangle bed next to our house surrounded by concrete. They are ALL day sun and it thives. Don't believe is the same as your Sun variety because ours does purple flowers but they can take the HOTT HOTT as long as water is supplemented.
Blessings from NE GA (20 minutes from Athens) ❤

  2. Fully enjoyed purchasing flowers and Candy corn spirea last Saturday. The quality of proven winners annuals and the care you give them is impeccable. ❤

  3. You recommended to trim back our "artic blast damaged" azales (I'm in 7b) & feed . What feed do you recommend?
    Thank you! Love your videos❤

  4. Wish I lived close enough for a visit! .. looks like you’re using a new camera…so clear and vibrant.

  5. Please help!! Potting Mix vs Potting Soil!!! I’ve been told there is NO soil in potting mix. So what’s the difference between the two? And what are their uses? Which to use in pots? Which in hanging baskets? In the ground?
I don’t understand what to use?

  6. Hi Jenny! How many supertunias are in the hanging baskets? Do you think I can get away with 1 supertunia in a hanging basket?

  7. I love sprinter boxwoods i started planting them last year! Ferns are also a favorite of mine! Everything was beautiful!

  8. Jenny! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and Jerry showing every plant in your wonderful nursery. Even though I live in the Dallas, TX area and not the beautiful Dallas, NC area, I have a PW grower nursery near me. So when I go there, I take my list that I made from your great videos and look for what you show me goes well together for containers and will grow great in my area. So thrilled to find so many new ideas from you and Jerry all the time! Still wish I lived in beautiful NC with all the trees that I miss so much from my home state, but thankful to be able to watch you guys and enjoy the beauty and learn more of what I want to add to my garden here in Texas. Big hugs from Texas! XO. V

  9. Thank you for sharing I came and I bought my plans was very nice and I enjoyed planting my chicks from the hen or hens and chicks see you again sooner

  10. Hi there Jenny. I want you to know I live in SW Florida, Cape Coral zone 10a and I grow the sun hosta here in full sun. It does just fine for us. It’s wonderful because it’s the only hosta that I am aware of that we can grow here in southern Florida where the sun an be deadly hot in the summer.

  11. Just bought some of the Superbena sparkling rose! 🌹I have space to plant behind them too. What would you recommend?

  12. Dreamsicle would look fab in your cottage garden urns with a Playing the Blues as the center piece 😍!

  13. I live in Florida zone 8. I have my sun hostas in my front garden all year round! Full sun and experience the white blooms.I decided to divide mine this year! If u plant them in a more shaded area the foliage will become a darker green.🌿❤

  14. I hollered when you said the sweet potato vine will climb you if you stand still hahahaha

  15. Boston Red Sox hat in NC!
I looked up the orange paw print – Clemson!
It matched the Tequila Sunrise Dahlia.

  16. I’m in zone 8b Fairhope Alabama.
I have several Kimberly ferns that are in the large plastic half barrel planters. They have been in those pots for several years and do wonderful, in my previous house they were around my fish pond and some mixed among naturalized azaleas and camellias shaded in the afternoon. When I moved I brought them and placed them in the front area of my house as it really had no landscaping. They get a lot more sun and still do wonderful. They have been through frosts and after trimming back if needed they bounce right back. I actually prefer them in pots as they seem to get bigger and taller and when planted in the ground they just seem to spread.

  17. Sun Hostas in zone 6b can do full sun no problem if that helps at all 😊 I would love to see Jerry's expression when Jenny says she wants to keep things, maybe he needs a mic for the garden tours too.😂

  18. Ha, what are the odds I showed up right after you filmed this Saturday and ended up buying the Abelias to put in front of my Loropetalums?!🥰🙌🏼

  19. Love the EZ Scape concept – it really makes gardening more accessible and inspired confidence for newer gardeners.

  20. Hey, I have the sun Hostas and believe me, I wasn't a believer. This Hosta is in full sun alllll day!……no irrigation for 6 years. I happen to see it at my local nursery and for some reason they had it under cover. I asked why because it was a sun Hostas. They wasn't sure if if would take the sun and had no real experience with it and only had 4. It is wonderful! The first year it struggled a little but remember I didn't have it on drip and still dont. It's the real deal… oh, I'm in zone 8a! ☀️

  21. I planted 2 sparkling rose verbenas last year and they didn’t die…currently full of blooms here in Gaston county!

  22. Hi Jenny,
I live in Brandon Florida zone 9b. I have a sun hosta and have it planted in a pot since last summer because as you, was not sure i could trust the tag and wanted to be able to move it easily. Low and behold, i have it in full sun until 3 or 4 pm and it has done beautifully. It is in bloom now and could not be more lovely. Word of caution, does. Need watering every other day. Really enjoy your videos.

  23. I have the sun hosta in florida 9b. They sell a lot down here. The stay small but ok in the sun. It’s true 🙂

  24. this was one of your best videos to date. i saw so many plants i would love to have. your hanging baskets are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS !!! AMAZING !!!

  25. My Kimberly Queen fern got monsterously big last year. 🙂 I put some Biotone in the pot when I planted it. The pot is about 18"x18" at the top, and tapers down to 12"x12" at the base, and is about 24" high. It was a great proportion for it.

Someone else mentioned that when planted in the ground theirs spread. Mine had a ton of baby plants in the pot, which just made it look even lusher.

  26. Yes!! On Sun Hosta I live in Florida zone 8b and my Sun Hostas are in Full sun until about 4 pm and they are growing beautifully this is my second year growing them there. I’m adding some more this year ❤️

  27. We organize huge gardens, we build huge villas; We consider ourselves worthy of the best of everything, but we do not build nests and shelters for birds. It is a very sad event. Or are we bothered by bird sounds? Life is beautiful when you and the creatures around you are happy.🌺🌲🍀

  28. We’re making plans for our Creekside visit. We love our destination date day to find some lovely plants for our newly renovated garden!🌱

  29. Lovely to see orange petunia. We have them here in Michigan for years and wondered why they weren't more popular. They mix so well with pink and yellow and blue. Gorgeous.

  30. I’m so jealous. We are still cool in zone 6b, SWMO. Cleaning beds but it’s frustrating. Plus we are in a severe drought.

  31. Hi Jenny, love your videos. I watched this video several times trying to get the names of the shrubs that you put together with the sprinter boxwood. Could you please tell what the other two are called? Thank you☺

  32. I have 2 sun hostas that have lived in my garden for about 8 years. They get around 4 to 5 hours of morning and early afternoon sun. They are happy but the one that got the most sun was smaller and the leaves would bleach by the time we got to July. I moved it into almost full shade last year and it has doubled in size and looks better than ever. The other is still in its spot but it gets a little less sun. It is nice and big and only has a little but of leaf bleaching in July.

  33. Just looked up loropendalum (I thought you were calling it Laura Pentalum) Ozark Hillbilly, I got all excited then saw they are zone 7, I’m 6b, can’t risk it. 😢
