Noticed my C. Calculus has wrinkles any help?

    C. Calculus are pretty straightforward! If you water it now and it plumps up after a day, it’s just thirsty.

    If it doesn’t plump up after watering, it’s probably heading into dormancy and you should leave it alone till fall.

    If it’s spring where you are, then it should be going dormant. Conophytum should receive little to no water from spring-summer. In the northern hemisphere, I usually don’t water my conos from April until September.

    During the summer, this wrinkly old skin will form a papery sheath, and when you water it in fall, the new plump leaves will break out of the sheath along with (hopefully) a flower. Trust me, these plants are extremely resilient!
