  1. Jill, let me say I always watch your videos and always get something out of them. Your content and message is so good! But 360p or 480p is killing me. I need that HD; I'm missing seeing the detail of the plants you're showing😭

  2. Clarification on sound. I’m watching on my iPhone and when I hold it with the home button at the bottom (small screen) then sound is normal. If I turn it to get the large screen, the sound decreases and is harder to hear. Not sure what causes it.

  3. You guys always inspire me! Thank you! I need more kitchen veg inspiration! I cook but its the same old veg recipes…its like…I just don't know what to DO with all the bounty…lol!

  4. I would add one more consideration. If you want to include seed saving in your gardening skills, be aware that hybrids do not breed true – the seeds will tend to revert to one or the other of the parent plants, whereas heirloom varieties do breed true, and continue to produce the same tomatoes year after year . . . with an added plus, that over time the plants become even more adapted to your specific climate and soil. The consideration here is maintaining some degree of isolation in order to ensure that your heirloom plant does NOT cross-pollinate with another variety.

  5. Let's get 70K subscribers to this channel. Jill and Nathan deserve every one. Yes, Lemon Boy tomatoes are one of my favorites and they are so beautiful.

  6. I’m new at selling plants at a farmers market. Having to use a soilless medium was new to me. I would love to know how you mix yours Bc mine was a failure and cost me lots of lost seeds and few plants to sell.

  7. I really appreciate how organized and clear you are in your videos. I am growing in a small backyard area and want to preserve as much of my harvest as I am able, so this was very helpful to me as I didn’t realize how hybrid and heirloom might differ as far as maintenance issues and yield. I am going to take a closer look at what I am planning to grow for next year’s garden now! I am learning so much from you and Jess! My two favorite gardeners! 💗

  8. I didn't realize that you primarily grow hybrids. For whatever reason, I thouhht you grow mostly heirlooms. Like you, though, i grow a mixture of both. Im also growing a few varieties that are disease resistant to certain diseases we struggle with.

  9. Thank you for another very informative vlog. As there are just the two of us now and we are both getting up along growing food and gardening in general is finding the easiest way possible . 🙏🙏💕💕🌻🌻

  10. Some of us are contaimer gardening. How would you suggest trellising those if you pruned the tomatoes. I have a balcony. Been doing for a while. Only trellising ive figured out is reg tom cages but i mainly use those for peppers or small dwarf tomato & teepee style. Not sure if yr trellis could would for Containers.

  11. Good Friday morning Jill. Excellent video – as always. I'm glad to see you're doing well. Thanks so much for another great garden tour. 🌼🌼🌹🌹🌼🌼
