  1. Question: I am curious why you chose to put the taller plants in the middle of the windowbox, rather than at the ends. Is it going to be for more privacy when they mature?

  2. I personally love the look of a messy and overgrown window box (so long as it’s not seriously at the expense the the plants). It reminds me Permaculture gardens which I can’t get enough of 🥰.

  3. Hi Linda, I was introduced to your channel through your old garden which I absolutely loved and so looked forward to seeing how you would tackle your new one. Forgive me but I’m a bit disappointed this time. It all seems ‘bitty’ with flag stones here there and every where so that you can reach your various plants. In our UK cottage gardens, plants are reached from a path of grass which enhances the planting. I would have loved to have seen access to your plants from your seating area so that guests and yourself could have a close up view of the flowers without having to step, skip and jump through the beds. Sorry for the negative critic but I’ll still be watching your channel with interest.

  4. Hi Linda, you have inspired me to improve on my garden. I have been gardening for over 40 yrs. Covid introduced me to YouTube and I was hooked on to your channel. I look forward to Wednesday and Sunday additions. I have started my own YouTube channel and it is Jazzy’s garden. I have a long way to go.
    Thanks for inspiring me❤❤❤❤❤

  5. You’re a delight! I have a 3 acre garden so I have it divided into 5 areas and focus on one specific area each weekday. Deadheading is justone of my daily tasks in each area. However, I often stroll in the evening and often return to the house w a handful of spent blooms.

  6. Good morning Linda. Your gardening style inspired me so much that I used your take on using bricks , pavers and pea gravel in my flower garden borders. Thank you!

  7. Hi Linda,
I have enjoyed your videos for many reasons. I just have a comment. It is getting more disjointed with Stewert talking and giggling in the background. He is very talented with the camera and editing. But, more often he is over talking you and has begun to correct you. I may be a lone voice in this. I wish you both great success.

  8. Did you amend the soil before you started planting? I've been following the transformation and it looks wonderful. I look forward to each week's developments.

  9. Just planting a new garden in our new home. I’m in Williamsburg, VA which is a zone 7b. So enjoying your ideas. This is the first time I’ve had Bermuda grass. What can I do to prevent the Bermuda from intruding in my garden beds. Is there an edging you would recommend? Thanks.

  10. Love your updates. I don't know if it is my computer, but the audio was a little low for me compared to the ads that pops up and startles me because of their louder volume.

  11. I deadhead as soon as the blooms begin to fade. I would just like to complement Stuart on his masterly camera work. It's only one of the reasons is an absolute pleasure to watch your videos though.

  12. The stalks of Swiss Chard can be used in place of celery. Also, love using the leaves in place of spinach.
Thank you for sharing about dead heading and how it will make the plant flush out.

  13. Have followed you a long time. Adore your command of the English language and knowledge of easy and comfortable plants.
