Are these little spots showing because of too much light?
I have this guy under some lights and away from direct sunlight. When I first got it (#1) it was fine but now it’s got little spots like this (#2). Is that normal or should I be worried about bugs? Thanks 🙂
More likely to be physical damage. Especially if you’ve only recently received the plant, the shipping/potting process can be a little rough on such tiny plants.
Both my calculus suffered the same fate after getting them, but after a summer and a fresh “pair” of leaves they’re looking much better :-) (except the one that got stained by seaweed solution.. sigh .. only a year until it’s clean again lol).
Re sun, like always the plants will need adjusting, but afaik calculus can take more sun than most Conos and will go a nice pearly white.
