  1. I did not see the link for the hose you love, maybe i missed it. Do i need to be eating more carrots?

  2. I planted feverfew many years ago, and it reseeds itself literally everywhere in my whole yard! Most of it gets to live where it lands, but I have more than I know what to do with. It’s lovely!

  3. That area looks naked looking toward your door. You might add a large arbor at the top of your steps to frame your door.

  4. Yikes, Linda! Please reconsider your plan to mow the grass on the side garden incline. This looks like an accident just waiting to happen. Maybe consider replacing the grass on that side slope with a ground cover that needs minimal maintenance.

  5. Glad to see the backyard progress. Looking forward to watching the transition. You are always so instructive. Much appreciated, Linda.

  6. Just love your videos and have learned so much. QUESTION: will you be bringing back the outdoor baskets you sold on OVC? Thank you.

  7. Good Morning linda!! Wow your garden is sure looking so beautiful and tidy!! I love it!! Great job!!👏👏🌹

  8. Enjoyed your great work so far. Not sure of your plan for the back, but I'd like to make a suggestion or two for your consideration. First, I would have the brick garage in the yard refinished with the German schmear technique; it would lift the look. I would also have a raised bed installed against its long side painted a color to match the fence. A modestly sized black finish greenhouse in the far right corner of the yard would give the entire yard a certain ambience and properly lit would be gorgeous at night. I would depart from mimicking the look in the front of the house and prepare larger areas of paving or even a patch or two of grass for the eye to rest. There is a place for contemporary design to fit into a more traditional garden that is uplifting. Am enjoying your process.

  9. Hi Linda. I would also like to know the color formula or name of your fence color and house trim. Hoping you decide to share as you did on the color of your dark fence and house trim at the fairy tale house.

  10. I am getting some Holly's like you. If you see a good price on line let me know. Those are expensive. I need at least 3 for now. I want to block out my neighbors. Lol. They are nice but…. I plan on ordering one of those yellow Jasmine vines. My other one did not die in freeze but it's starting over. Funny thing I did not cover in first freeze all ok but the last one puff it went! Lol,lol after. I cried!!!🤣😭9,8 ?Texas

  11. I just bought 4 Eden roses (2 Edens, 1 Red Eden and 1 White Eden) and several others too. Be aware Eden can be a favorite for thrips. My highly anticipated blooms have been very browned on the edges and didn't look nice at all. I wasn't aware of thrips before recently, but now I'm learning. Thrips have been really bad this year everywhere due to the moist and cool spring we've had. Just something to be prepared for. I'm excited to see how your's will grow and fill in. It's going to be so gorgeous!

  12. Wondering if you will hang string lights in back before your son from Singapore visits? Looking forward to the added ambience and how you decide to style it.

  13. Your gardens are coming along very nicely, and I enjoy following you, as you prune, pinch, and putter. What a great project. Can't wait to see how you trim up some of your bushes into topiaries.

  14. I WOULD ATTACH YOUR green house to the side of the garage then u would only need three walls and it would visually attrative to you and your gursts when doing outdoor dining with some twinkle lights

  15. Linda, that shot of your front yard from the social patio, with the waves of purple, looks stunning! Love that you have the side door to decorate. Have you considered removing the screen door, which I believe detracts from the pretty glass door, so that you only see the glass door?

  16. Do you have to get Historic Preservation approval to change the width and appearance of your back steps? I know it was been a while, but when we were before them years ago, they were hearing folks wanting to widen deck steps. I think they are more lenient these days, but just an FYI. Love all you are doing and so happy Johnny is coming this weekend!

  17. I’m looking for a way to zap weeds without bending over so much. The flame throwers for weeds look a little fun, but I haven’t talked with anyone who’s used one. I’m in calm wet conditions, but you have wind. Probably dangerous for your area.

  18. I LOVE feverfew ! I planted some this year in pots because I hear that they are invasive and aggressive and I am terrified now to put in the ground. Right now I am chasing down yarrow and a few other thugs in my garden and it is making me weary .

I could never make a greenhouse worthwhile .. I don’t grow seedlings or have anything in large scale to winter over. I AM “ flirting “ with having a cold frame to have some herbs over winter ?

  19. Linda can you please tell me the name of the tiny mulch you use in you pots, boxes & in-between walkways. You mentioned it, I should've written it down. Having a hard time finding anything that small. Have to tell you I love your cloches (QVC) & book, looking forward to your journal. Thank you for making me relove gardening – you are so inspirational.

  20. Garden is fabulous!!. I also have seen videos from professional landscapers that warn against having climbing roses or climbing plants trailing up the house as rats and mice and other wildlife will crawl right up onto your house.
