  1. I agree with you about pressure-treated wood not being what it used to be. We have retaining walls we put in 30 years ago that are still good. However, the ones we did 10 years ago need to be replaced already. Unfortunately, one is the foundation for a shed that will have to be emptied and moved to replace the timbers…this time with gravel and concrete blocks.

  2. Good Morning Jenny, I love this chicken coop, so darn cute, love this video!! Your information on this video about predators to save chickens is great!! Thank you- God Bless You All-❤

  3. Wow! Lots of work but well worth it. I especially liked the drone shots at the end and the relaxing music. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I've been doing tons of research in the hopes of getting my own coop someday. Everyone I talked to said chicken wire will NOT keep out raccoons, possums, foxes, etc. They will rip through it like tissue paper. You need hardware cloth to stop them from getting in. Also, first hand knowledge from sad personal experience… you will need a much smaller spaced mesh to keep snakes out. From what it looks like on my phone, snakes will have zero problems getting through that.

  5. Looks fantastic to bad you’re missing pieces. Their going to love it. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

  6. I believe this company setup the chicken coop on Epic Gardening was amazing!!

  7. WOW. This is going to be awesome for your sweet girls. I imagine you have a wonderful landscaping design ready to go.

  8. Sulphur spread around the coop repels snakes too. Spread it around your house, around anywhere you don't want snakes. It works.
Some friends moved out next to Sam Houston forest. They also have abiut 18 chickens. I told them I grew up out in the country, collecting eggs for my grandmother….where you have chickens, you will always have chicken snakes. So I will never have chickens. Some.of my worst memories are of me, a child, putting my hand in to get an egg and instead touching a snake. My girlfriends' 96 year old grandfather told them to put sulpher around their trailer, and the coop and they'd have no snakes. I was very leery. But lo and behold, it's been a year and.they haven't seen one snake. Nor lost one chicken.
And they don't mow their grass hardly ever!!
So, now I'm a believer and tell everyone with chickens.
    (But I'm not getting chickens).
