  1. Good morning from Ohio! We’re expecting rain this afternoon! Always a good thing to have natures rain to water our plants and flowers! Have a wonderful weekend all!

  2. “Blessed with rain”…..can we PLEASE bless those Midwest states instead before my peonies rot out????😰😰😰😰😰

  3. This year I filled my troth with coleus’s because of the look of yours when you did it, I’m loving it so much. Thank you for always sharing. Always fun and informative 😊

  4. OMG Jenny!! I so feel ya on the rain situation!!!!! Over here in 8b SC, and I swear, we had our average rainfall of 30 to 50 inches by the end of March!! Now we are working on the + portion of that average! lol. Everything is just swimming. My poor veggie plants need life preservers & floatation devices! I went out in the pouring rain the other day and dug some trenches trying to divert some of the water. It worked for a few hours, then it was back to the water not having anywhere else to go because the ground is just sooooo saturated. In the past 4 days, we've gotten EVERYONE'S share of rain! I think our neighbors are building an Ark…. I hope they let us in lol.

  5. What about a koi pond in the circular area (Or do you not water that close to your house because of the kids)? You can have water plants and the sound of the bubbler from pump. Monrovia finally got on the GA bandwagon!

  6. Thanks Jenny, I hope to see the invincible Sublime in my local nurseries soon. ❤️🇨🇦🌸

  7. Did I miss an update on the wheel barrow planter that you potted up at the entrance of the nursery?

  8. It is so relaxing to see the beautiful garden and to hear that unique tremble in your voice.Growing up their was a lady at church who sang with a tremble in her voice also.Every body loved to hear sing and no one else sang her song.I think Brinna is ready for her close up.Nothing like a stroll in the garden 😊

  9. I gotta find time to get over there. Can’t find the Holy Grail or Coffee Cups here. Three hours one way is doable but tricky.

  10. We are so dry in Southern Missouri. I’m jealous but I hope you don’t get to much rain and start flooding

  11. Jenny and Jerry…your nursery and home gardens are so lovely…I sure wish I lived closer…I am Gere in zone 9 Louisiana…your plants are so healthy…I love your enthusiasm…at 73 I am finding it to be more difficult to garden…started a new garden…after a move.. my husband recently had a stroke and watching your show & working in my own garden is my refuge…I love all plants …I love the Japanese painted fern..not for my zone😔.so pretty as are all of your plants… 🙏

  12. I wish you guys lived near by. I finally put a camera on the side of the house that has no windows. Its basically like your shade garden. Iv been studying the sun amount. It gets maybe close two hours morning sun and some mid day sun and dapple and one section gets full blast afternoon sun. Its basically not consistent. We our a corner unit in zone5b and that side is the street view. We really want to but up a fence using plants so ppl cant see us on our deck. Great development neighborhood but sometimes you don't want people waving at you when you enjoying the evening. Its been so hard to find shrubs that will like this weird spot. There are a lot of trees that have been trimmed 10ft-20ft up (To expensive to remove). We cant do firebush as its invasive here.

  13. I have a tonnnn of deer and they leave my coleus alone for the most part. YMMV with deer of course but coleus and caladiums are my shade color with deer. Torenia to a lesser extent. They will nibble in torenia in my yard but they recover.

  14. Apparently everyone has Florida Sunshine except Florida 😂. I need this plant in my shade garden and I can’t find it locally!

  15. This made me go out and shop for my shade garden today. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find many of these for my zone 9 garden in Louisiana. I did pick up some curcuma, gingers, aucuba, and bromeliads.

  16. In France, Chartres is a city Southwest of Paris with a famous huge 13th century Gothic Cathedral. We pronounce it Sharh-truh, with that gutteral R 😮. As an American, a very tough word for me😂😊.

  17. Who doesn't want to say I have a purple people eater 🤣😂🤣
    Such beautiful plants 💙

  18. You haven't toured your mom's garden in a long time. Are you considering a tour sometime soon?

  19. Always love the episodes. I watch every day. Such inspiration! Charles St is a street in the French Quarter in New Orleans.

  20. Had a nightmare about Japanese beetles and woke up with a fright at two this morning. I'm in southern Phio now, amd dont know how bad they are up here. Still put out a trap with some JB oil, jic.

  21. Jenny thank you for introducing me to crested surf ferns in your porch planter video a while back! My autumn ferns in pots at the north entrance died in the arctic freeze this past December – they were very exposed unfortunately. I replaced them with these ferns this spring, and I could not be happier! They are absolutely gorgeous ferns down here in the deep south in deep shade and have been rapid growers as well! I highly recommend them!!!

  22. Another awesome tour of your shade loving plants. I would love to plant them all! Thanks for sharing them with me! Does Unique stone still carry the bashful little girl like you have in your shade garden by the house? Would love to have one!

  23. I have a large shade area and I love the Florida Sunshine. I went to my local Walmart and they were $25 each. I want at least 3. I decided to wait for now and then I go to the clearance section and guess what ….. 2 on sale for $7 each. I got both of them and an autumn embers and a bloom struck hydrangea for $10 each. Woo hoo. I brought them home cleaned them up and got them in the ground. They were all extremely wet and I think that was why the were looking kind of rough. I am so excited. I wish o was closer to Creekside but I am about 7 hours away from you.
