Australian Edible Lilly Pilly for Small Space Gardens
I treat this plant like a little mini fruit tree, as it’s so hardy and I really like eating the healthy pink fruits.
There are many varieties, but my tree of choice for small spaces in the containers and planted in the garden is syzygium resistance.
I know the flavour is good, it’s compact, cute, bears a lot of berry type fruits and is also a wonderful companion plant.
Small birds like to hide in it while hunting for insects and the flowers attract a lot of beneficial pollination insects.

Love your little lilly pilly. Sadly I think Adelaide might be a bit too cold to grow one. What do you think?
