  1. So flowers are just like humans. There's all different kinds tall skinny fat short. That's because god made him that way that's why they grow different

  2. We had a massive downpour this afternoon -much needed but would have been better if the rain came more gradually. My hydrangeas all look great-no flopping. But my dinner plate hibiscus is splayed flat. Hoping it bounces back as it dries out. And the Phlox is pretty battered too. But my hydrangeas are loving life.

  3. That was a great tutorial on the different hydrangeas. I have 3 Little Quick Fires and love them. I’m going to look for Pufferfish next! Thanks so much! Zone 3 🇨🇦

  4. Love this video, planning to buy a Hydrangea for my garden. Thanks a lot, will have to check out what is available near me (Aust.).

  5. I really needed all of this valuable info on hydrangeas. Thank you!
I will be sure to save it in my Garden Playlist.
Then, I will be certain to read the article you've linked.

  6. Wonderful information! I am redoing almost my whole landscape! Can’t wait to try lots of these! Thank you!!! I am a southern gardener too.

  7. I learned a lot from this video. You did miss the Zebra Hydrangea. My story on that is for years I have wanted one but it was so expensive online to buy one and some things can be a little sketchy if you don't know the nursery you are buying from. I decided at the last minute one day 2 weeks ago to visit our HyVee (grocery store) garden center and there she was in a one gallon pot 15 inches tall and on sale for 23 dollars. You just never know. Needless to say I'm in love.😍 😊😊🌷🌷

  8. By far, the best tour of hydrangeas I have seen! So helpful to see these growing in the landscape. I'm going to bookmark this as a great reference for future use! Thanks so much!

  9. Is there anything I can give to jump start my Little lime punch hydrangeas. I had to overwinter them in their containers and although they are coming back (planted), they are quite sparse (zone 5b).

  10. Oh my Goodness so information Thank You! Always watch you even tho I am from Ohio!! Love Ya!! Take care! ❤️👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

  11. I wish I could send you a photo of my quick fire hydrangea. I planted it at the corner of my porch. It receives sun from Noon to about 3pm. My porch is four foot off the ground and the hydrangea almost touches my spouting. It’s well over 8 feet in width. Since my porch ceiling is 7 feet and the floor 4 feet off the ground I’d say it’s a good 9 feet in height. She is just loaded this year! I wish I knew how to trim on her in the early years. I also wish I would have stepped her out about 3 feet more from the porch. Because I believe she would be 10’ by 10’ and just as happy as a clam. Making and absolutely beautiful presentation of herself standing alone. I planted her in 2011. I also had planted a Annabelle along my driveway. Just one plant. And it spread and covers the entire length of a 20 foot corner of the flower bed that runs about 100 feet along the property line down the side of my driveway. It covers a great swath of garden approximately 20 feet long and 8 feet wide. She went from a one plant habit to a bunch of individual sticks that sprout up every year. In the beginning the follow spring I had pulled out some of those twig sprouts.. Then realized one had a small hydrangea leaf on it. So I let them go. So glad I did. Some of the flowers get as big as basket balls. So beautiful. I have to admit my three other hydrangea’s struggled then I started watching Laura then she introduced you on her video and through watching I realized I need to cut them back. Now….they are beautiful. I also planted a Nikki blue hydrangea that sent out a runner and moved itself forward in my back flower bed. I though oh great that is going to be awesome another plant. Then the next spring I noticed that I could wiggle the base of the older plant and it just pulled out of the ground. I was sick about it. Then as spring moved on I realized the shoot was growing with vigor. It actually moved itself about 2 feet forward and has never done this again!!!!! My quick fire has also sent out a shoot last summer and I have a small new plant and it will bloom this year. I am going to move that one since it has sprouted up very close to the porch lattice. It can not stay in its spot from the vigor of the parent plant. Which by the way is like a small tree or and over grown rhododendron habit.

I’m so glad Laura introduced you on her platform. I’ve learned so much from you both. However, I’m your on my side of the country. My growing zone is a 6b. Therefore, I can benefit from you both. So fun. Thank you Jenny! I can not express how much I have learned from you!

I just finished a huge renovation in my house and have been on the struggle bus to put my home back together that my yard and gardens have suffered. I can’t wait to make some changes out in my front yard and move some plants from around my deck. But, I need fill and loam. Because of your berms I have a whole new plan. When I had my driveway replaced last fall I made them place the base they dug out and fill an area that has just been waiting for me to loam up. Now my mind is filled with ideas… That sprouted quick fire will find its new home there with more benefits than its parent.

    Again, thank you!

  12. This was fantastic. Loved it, thank you. I’m a bit north of you in mid Maryland. My Little Limes are at same stage as yours. We do get great color change on them here for anyone wondering. Have added some PW Zinfin Dolls, first year blooming so will see. Added this spring PW Limelight Prime and PW Fire Light. Can’t wait to see how they do.

  13. I was hoping you would show your hedge of hydrangea you planted last year. As I am struggling with planting a hedge of Vanilla Strawberry hydrangea.
