The plant is currently outside, but I’m zone 5 so it spent the winter under lights. It’s in something like 60% perlite to 40% succulent soil. I’m still struggling to tell when it wants water. It’s such a cool little plant! What am I doing wrong?!

Maybe your lights were not as strong as sun so it’s too much and got sunburned, or you watered too much. Sometimes the top of the soil is bone dry but just below it’s still soaking wet. I already see something going on on first pic… those few yellowish parts…

I know! I wasn’t sure if the yellow leaves in photo 1 were normal reabsorption. It seems like it’s always overwatering as the problem!
