    Tree surgeons will always be happy to give you the wood chips Tony it saves them a trip back to the yard to dump it 👍🏻 plots looking good also 😊

    We had a tree surgeon hard pruning a tree on my road last year but I couldn't pluck up the courage, spent days after kicking my self for not asking.

    Another lovely video.. I am glad you are nothing like the BBC !! Real life gardening, like the rest of us. I always kick myself for not asking people for things I just buy it even if they are just throwing it away. Even my neighbour was chopping his tree down and had the surgeons doing it and chopping everything up and I watched most of the day and I still didn’t go and ask…! No hope for me .

    Have you watched Tony O’Neil at Simplify Gardening using wood chip in the potato buckets to help retain moisture? Might be worth a try, you certainly have enough lol

    Great job asking for the wood chips! I got a chip drop delivery just yesterday, an entire truck load. It took my son 10 hours to move it all from the driveway to the garden. But is so beautiful. It felt like Christmas, I was so excited when they called to ask if I wanted the delivery. Bonus that its mostly cedar. Smells so wonderful!

    Just looking on Google Maps after your video where you walked the dogs. Some of the allotment sites up there are massive! Like small towns.

    🤣🤣🤣 I followed a man to the tip yesterday to ask for his cardboard boxes. He gave them to me, but he looked at me like I was some crazy homeless lady. They were huge ones for a washer and dryer! I’m not shy. Charles Dowding would be proud of my scrounging skills.😂

    Hello Tony. When you mentioned you lost your glasses, I was going to say, with all the craziness is it any wonder, but then you tell us about the wine and then I thought well maybe the craziness isn’t responsible for you misplacing you glasses. 🍷☺️
    Yay, you got yourself a great load of wood chips!!! Tony when I watch your videos they seem to get to the end too quick!😉

    All my tomatoes are now 2 ft high and flowers oops think I peaked too early (all on windowsills to start now in greenhouse unheated fingers crossed) wish id planted red cabbage can’t find any anywhere. Keep smiling stay healthy. #lookoutmontydon
