  1. I grow them, I'm just across the border from you in Ontario, Essex county. So depending how close to Detroit you are we may be really close.

Anyways I grow all 4 of those. I'm growing a privacy hedge with them. I bought them from bamboo plants, located in BC Canada. They ship worldwide. They have some interesting plants on the site.

Personally, flavor wise, I prefer gooseberries. But most gooseberries are covered in sharp thorns. I actually harvested two bushes today, I'm scratched up. Any tips on gooseberries?

  2. Yes that fruit would be you, and yes I’ve heard of a currant. Your pronunciation is also wrong, it’s not a voltage of electricity, it sounds like Kur-ron-T. It’s tough being a zoomer like yourself, it’s even harder when you’re a dum6 zoomer.

  3. They definitely aren't illegal in New Mexico. I have white currants, and I had a Crandall currant that recently died on me that I plan to replace this fall.

  4. Thankfully, they’re not restricted in most states. A handful do restrict both currants and gooseberries.

  5. I had no idea they were ever banned. I've definitely heard of them, but I cannot remember ever tasting them or seeing them fresh.
