Throwing fert like that is terrible advice
Great video. I have a high spot in my lawn and to do it this way will raise my lawn height higher than the patio and it would take tonnes of soil. Can I dig out the high spot? I’ve also noticed that water collects in the low spots after heavy or prolonged rain. The high spot is fine. What can I do about these issues.

Do you have any thoughts on old, decayed tree roots? Do I need to remove them or can I just fill in where they've decayed/sunk down? I think the previous owner took the tree out about 10 years

Great video, concise and clear! Would this same approach work for dead spots in St. Augustine lawn in Zone 10A? Any special requirements due to the type of lawn or the dryness in this area?

Between the burrowing Beatles, moles, gophers and all the other things that constantly dig in our central Florida yard level is totally out of the question.
Hahahaha! Love it. Great job. That is similar to laying a patio however, with the lawn you don’t feel the pressure to get it done as fast as possible. Count your blessings!
you can be happy you don't have any moles. Yoyr problems are small compared with mine
I took the lawn out. Tired of levelling. Too many night crawlers.
