  1. Good Morning! I want to mention one of my show-stopper plants that is at its prime here in Kernersville NC. This amazing deciduous shrubs is a dwarf pink chaste tree. I purchased it last summer knowing it was root bound and not performing very well. Once it got in the ground with full sun, good soil, some BioTone and ample watering it took off. This winter it died off to the ground which i was not expecting. I left it alone and could not believe when it came back to life and flourished. Now it is absolutely stunning with lots of blooms that attract big fat bumblebees. They are so fun to watch. If you can get your hands on one i am sure you will be delighted with it. Looks like we will both be getting a storm later today. Crossing our finger our gardens don't get damaged. Bye for now. Susan

  2. @GardeningwithCreekside thank you for the wonderful update. Would you be able to list and link the plants you talk about in the description of the videos? It would be so much easier to look for those for us listening to the video. Thank you so much! Love your content.

  3. Crazy beauty!! Can't believe the size of those plants! I'm jealous sitting here in the s.hemiphere winter where my clay soil is waterlogged & my evergreens are struggling from too much water! I won't complain bcos it's better than the drought we had several years in a row & our ciity was facing day zero in our dams! Closely averted that disaster with strict water rations! So while rain is a pain when too much, it's still a better deal than too little!😅

  4. All the gardens and plants are looking fantastic. Thank you so much for your channel, i have been following you for several years now and I love everything you do. Thank you for always being positive and such joy to watch and listen to. Sending love and greetings all the way from Slovakia. ❤

  5. Niagara Falls and Holy Grail make such a good pairing with their contrasting colors and textures! 🤩

  6. All the plants are BEAUTIFUL& HAPPY!!! the berm looks stunning!!! thank you for all the tips 👍👋👋👋

  7. I have a Wine craft Gold smokebush that has been planted for over 1 yr and I live in zone 8a. It is doing great. I don't water it, gets probably 6 hrs sun, and has some competition from nearby trees.

  8. Jenny, I started my garden five years ago. I ve been amending the soil slowly, my pants have never looked as great as yours, what am I doing wrong???

  9. I would be so nice if you can put the plant name in the video description. I love so many plant you mentioned but have a hard time searching for them. Thank you

  10. The winecraft gold in front of the hisbiscus is a beautiful combo, good job Jenny !!! I''ve had a winecraft gold for guite a few years and love it ! Looking at the first bunch of hibiscus I noticed how they complemented your front door . Have a great day Jenny !!

  11. WOW! You certainly have the right touch for getting the most out of your plants! Everything looked so pretty. Last year I had written you wondering how the plants would fill in all of that berm and you wrote me back saying, be patient. Well, you were right on! It looks amazing and so does the entrance, and didn't you plant the entrance with the Black Gold Raised Bed mix? I do have a question, with your temps reaching high 90s, how do the plants stay hydrated with 30 min a week of water? I would think that they would need more than that in such high temps. Is it b/c of the clay? I know clay hold moisture longer, so I am thinking maybe that's why? I have clay soil too and I have started adding compost and mulch, but still water 20 minutes every two days. I do this b/c the plants begin to wilt if I don't. Any thoughts? Thanks so much! P.S. I am in Chicago. Temps here get into mid 90s often with less and less rain each year.

  12. I can’t believe how amazing this garden is so quickly, I’m having a little more confidence in my red clay soil. Thank you guys for the update 💚🌟💚

  13. Jenny I watched you plant those beds and now they are awesome. Your plant selection is always just perfect for the area. You are so adoreable💕💕💕wish I lived near you so I could shop at your place. Helen

  14. Jenny, it is so neat to see how productive your flower bed is, vs when you first planted everything. Yall absolutely do a GREAT job. and missed seeing Ms. Brenna.

  15. Those plants are amazing – the size of these and with some not on water is outstanding for the producers and for your gardening choices and know how. Thanks for sharing these great plants with us. Loved the video.

  16. Oooh! I’m guessing that Winecraft Gold Smokebush would do well down here in Greenville, SC! Do you think you could get your hands on some for next season?
I really need to go back and watch your How to Care For Hydrangeas video. My Bobo hydrangeas are brown, but the Firelight Fab look fabulous! Thank you for making those types of videos! 💚
