Gary Pilarchik: Tomato Blossom End-Rot: Emergency Treatment & Prevention with Lime – The Rusted Garden 2013

*Just do this ONE time and water consistently.
Blossom End-Rot turns the bottom of your tomatoes brown. It occurs because your plants can’t easily utilize the calcium in the soil or their is not enough calcium in the soil for the plant. In either case I recommend adding lime in the form of a liquid slurry.
