  1. Well Luke! YOU NEED to propagate that berry plants!! I will b first in line to buy it!!! I spent good money on blackberry plants and all they do is grow like weeds and in 3 years all I got was 10 berries and they were not good and the thorns r razor Sharp! I need to dig them out and put them out of my yard and let them do whatever they want

  2. Fantastic video, Luke. I've always tried and mostly failed by taking cuttings. I've never seen this method before. By the way, what did you do to your hair? 😀

  3. I’m in zone 6 and have a hardy fig.. can I do that now? And how do you take it off the plant? I have a greenhouse I could put it in for a while frost usually kills back my tree till next season.

  4. I do believe I’m going to try that with my volunteer Saskatoon berry bush, they can be propagated by cuttings as well, no reason why it shouldn’t work. 🤔 Ive heard of air layering before, but wasn’t even considering it, thank you for the video to get me thinking. 😂😊

  5. Now I feel a bit silly for paying for the Triple Crown blackberry that was delivered this week (except I love supporting Stark Bros Nursery). My other fabulous thornless blackberries are growing like mad and I'm trying this method. More berries!! Thanks, Luke!

  6. Thanks for the information. I would like to try this on a blueberry bush and rose bush. Your blackberry bush sounds intriguing..very sweet berries on a thornless bush.

  7. So that does not need to be wrapped up. Just leave it like that for the winter on the bush.

  8. Hi Luke. I'm in zone 5b, SC Iowa. What time of the year is the best time to do this, when do you cut it off the main stem, etc., etc. You need to show all of this process. Thank You

  9. I have some grape plants that are out of control . So instead of cleaning them up I will air layer them in the ground over winter and hope for the best in the spring .

  10. Thank you for this. I have several plants I’ve wanted to propagate and this will help so much.

  11. Out of the 5 raspberry bushes I bought from MIGardner, 4 of them did not root. Very disappointing.
