Plant ‘Legginess’ happens when sprouting vegetable seeds don’t get enough intense light. A window needs to have 8 hours of full sun. Not indirect light. Indoor lights should sit 1 or 2 inches above your germinating seeds or growing plants. Light is a huge issue for healthy vegetable transplants. Peas are used for the example.
