  1. I have never grown wonderful radishes. This year, I added a bit of sand to my clay soil and added a good amount of worm castings. I had the best tasting, nice sized radishes that I have ever had. I did the same for fall minus the sand. Super. Now I need to learn to succession plant. I'll get there.😊

  2. I managed to only grow a single radish once. It was by mistake. I had some unknown seeds in my seed container , so I just planted them in my seedling tray and forgot about it until one day I used an app to tell me what it is. That’s when I found out it was a radish. 😂 I managed to grow that one radish under grow lights.

  3. Ever since the highlights, you've humor level has become quite spicy, which is a good thing. Thanks for all that you do, including the humor.

  4. I liked this one–7 mins is just right for me. 😊 I'm lucky in that my family loves the roots, while I like the greens; French Breakfast is our fave. Time to plant a few more rows in mid-MI.

  5. Radishes haven't been my favorite vegetable due to the flavor but I might give some a try that are a different variety and see if I like those better. It's good that they're easy to grow. I'm still deciding which things to start with to fill up my largest bed.

  6. I could grow radishes when I lived NEPa. Here in Florida panhandle it's been a challenge even when it's cooler

  7. I haven't been able to grow them to eat. They never fill out & just look like a colored stem when I pull them out. But right now, I have the most beautiful radish flowers growing. I must have missed a couple of them when I was pulling them out. They were an easter egg mix so the flowers are all different colors. Its crazy because they are 2-3 ft tall.

  8. I know you were not pleased about the reception of one of your recent seed saving videos. I am in the same boat for this one; I have zero interest in radishes.

  9. just harvested some of my fall radish planting. way better than my spring planting i like to steam them delicious
