The Davidson plum is a native Australian fruit tree that grows clusters of fruit along the main trunk. It grows tall and narrow creating a great canopy to shade other trees.
I have managed to kill 1 (too much sun) and I have 2 survivors. My healthiest survivor is in a pot at the corner of my house, where it is shaded all day. My others were a few meters out and had direct sun for a few hours a day. One has very bad sunburn and I've moved it under the shade, but there are no signs of new growth yet. Mine were all bought from local community nurseries and the one that died was from Bunnings.
