Sowing Sweet Cicely and artificially stratifying (if its needed). A Cheap way to introduce an edible naturalised herbaceous perennial (sweet cicely). Great for pollinators and grow very well in a U.K Climate. Growing such species from known seed stock allows you to familiarise yourself with these plants without risk if mis-identification when foraging in the wild.
We will also take a quick look at Great mullein, a native biennial a plant we will look at more in the coming growing season.
Both plants make useful additions to forest gardens, provide multiple uses and are great for wildlife.
Do not use herbs medicinal without sound knowledge with your species and proper medical professional advice.
