It is growing like crazy, but those spots (which have been on it since I got it) seem to be on new growth as well. I was hoping it was just scars from the nursery, but I am now worried. It is in a 6 inch clay pot and 80/20 inorganic to organic mix.

I have a theory that these are mineral build up.
Maybe they “sweat” excess minerals like jades, or idk if water is getting on the leaves.
In my experience white spots compromise the skin barrier and make it much more vulnerable to infection.
I live in an area with very hard water. I’m starting to think I should try to give them mineral free water, like the rainwater they drink in the wild
