I show you how to track the sun on your homestead to figure out where to drop your vegetable garden beds. You need 4-8 hours of direct sun for most vegetable and fruit crops. 6-8 hours is ideal for crops that want more sun like tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons and more. 4-6 hours also works for many vegetables.
