See What Happens When You Add Epsom Salt To Your Plants

Did you hear about the benefits of Epsom salt for plants? Epsom salt or magnesium sulfate is commonly used to enhance baths, but it’s also a popular garden additive that expert gardeners swear by! Whether you’re a beginner gardener or a seasoned one, you can grow healthy plants, flowers, trees, and bushes with the help of Epsom salt! It can even help to make your lawn green and lush again!

Common issues like leaf curling or leaf yellowing are often the result of magnesium deficiency. And while a soil test is recommended before adding nutrients, one of the best things about Epsom salt is that it has a neutral PH value, which means it won’t harm your soil and can benefit most plants. In fact, it’s a natural fertilizer and a natural insecticide!

  1. Watch your plants shrivel and die to salt usage.
You need a good ratio of epsom salt to water. If there is no scales or measurements for this practice. You will kill your plants by dehydrating them with the salts.
If you live in an area that’s mostly moist and you get frequent rain, you should be okay with the instructions provided in the video.
More research needs to be done with each individual plant. What is your soils Ph?
Do you use commercial fertilizer already?
Is there salts and sand already in your soil?
Those things are needed for you to know exactly what your soil needs, so you don’t kill your roots and therefore plants.
