Good information.
But you said only the lateral will produce blooms and at the end you can see lots of shoots coming out of the main cane. Can you elaborate?

Thanks! Great video! I would love to have climbing roses. Can they be planted in pots? I don't have much room.
Can you make a main cane turn back on itself, and snake up a tall trellis?
Hi,
I ordered some climbing roses last week, I have a wood fence. How do I train these against a fence? Also , I had a climbing rose in my yard, which I pruned without watching these videos and I cut off the main cane at the edge, can I do something about it now ?
May I ask where you purchased that trellis?
Thank you
What is type of rose?
So so beautiful!
really liked the part about lateral and main canes, to the point. good work
What it happens when accidentally brakes your main cane? Because I just did that 😢😢😢😢
Thanks 🎉❤
Hi! I have a main cane that has been completely vertical for 2 years with no lateral canes. If I now put it horizontal, will it produce lateral canes?
I just got a DA climber & of course the main canes are cut for shipping. Well in this video I learned you're never supposed to cut your main cane. So am I just waiting on the new main canes to grow up from the ground now? I wish you could do a video on the this aspect of having a climber, as in what to expect & do the first few years.
Can you zip tie lateral canes so it doesn’t get so heavy and fall forward?
I planted a rose bush a few yrs ago. It was pink, and only a few blooms per year. This year, the roses changed to a deep red (very pretty surprise), and is growing like crazy. The original bush was not a climber, but this year, it looks like it is.
Since I planted the original rose bush a few feet from the cottage porch, and now it is a climber…. How do I make it climb the railings when it is so far from the porch?
Also, there are several main canes that look dead and are heavily thorned. Do I cut them back to the ground, or will they eventually turn green again?
Loving that trellis… where did you get it from?😊
Is it bad to let heavy/weighed down canes just lay on the ground?
Do they survive in ohio winter
Thanks for the video . I dint understand the part to not deadhead the bloom on main cane . With bloom there will the cane continue to grow . Should we never deadhead ?
Muito bom, informações úteis bem direto ao ponto
Can you grow climbing roses from cuttings in the same way as all other roses?
❤Thank you for the tips ya😊l bought a climber,# Nahema & can't wait to train it up my L -shaped wall😊
you mention not to deadhead the main cane, when the roses of the main cane are spent do we just leave it?
