My new favourite gardening tool when removing weeds from boarders. I run my own gardening business and lots of people ask what the best way is to remove garden weeds and this is one of the tools I tell them about. This mini mattock is good to get into tighter areas than a trowel or hoe. Its sharper and makes light work of tough grasses and weeds.

Thanks for for the useful tip
I've got a mattock and I've never thought of using it for that. Thanks.
Really helpful idea. I've got a Japanese hori hori weeding knife really good tool for weeding.
Great videos as always mate.
Cool .. 😎
That's a great tip, might have to try that one! Thanks mate!
Gona try this
Never thought of this but Definitely on my wishlist now!
I always avoid weeding. Life's to short !
On another note. Have you ever realised how many tools us gardeners need / use? Generally a van full, and then we sometimes double up on the essentials…. Just in case.
Put that against a spark. A set of screwdrivers and wire strips. Plumber, a few wrenches, blow torch and a few copper bits and pieces.
Yet, as a profession we charge much less per hour.
Just a thought….
I have the other one which is a mini mattock . Handy little tools. 👍
I have as many tools as I think will come in handy. I only do what I think I can do. I don't prune taller hedges, just hard work for my notions. my body is the only tool i can't buy in a store. I use a gasoline String trimmer, a hedge trimmer, a self-propelled lawnmower and a one-handed blower. then I wonder if it's worth doing hard work if you're tired the next day. of course not, it's practically not worth working at all. so I only do jobs that I think I can do well and relatively easily. I don't buy a tool until I'm sure I'll actually use it on a few clients. I prefer looking for suitable clients rather than getting a client who demands from me something I cannot do or she is not willing to pay for hard work. if the customer beats me on the price, I automatically stop with it, if he pays me less than agreed once, even if it is 1 euro. if any customer gives a tip, it is absolutely on the priority list. I also don't like it when the customer for the extra work thinks it will be free.
I have a ice pick for weeding but i bloody hate weeding! Crap money in it and i really dont enjoy it! Have you got any knee pads mate? Will save you knees
used one for the last 2 years ,i swear by it
Alright there rab from sunny dumfries. I have been quoting jobs like the same as I've been doing last year but do you think that the £20 and under jobs are finished with now due to the cost of fuel and everything else.
I got this attachment for the wolf garten called the double hoe 😬, that is just like that, I put on the small handle and does a cracking job. But I’m still usually “too busy” for those small weeding jobs 😬
What a brilliant little tool. And a not bad price too 👍🏻👍🏻
My fave tool for building "cheeky" mountain bike trails – it's so versatile that I only need it, a rake, and a mini bow saw to create some great (if short lived once the Forest England rangers find them 😂) trails 👍
Keep em coming, these are the lil things we need to pick up along the way, nice one
