This jar was started months ago with just little white fish tank rocks. I filled water halfway up the rocks for a wet environment and put it in the sun. Algae slowly grew over time and I added some sticks.
I cut a poker chip sized slice of a potato with an “eye” and covers it with 1/2 cup potting soil. The thing is searching everywhere for nutrients.
