Okay so I have to start this video we were going to talk about the greenhouse and all the little stuff but I have to start this by saying I had already filmed this and the insecurities in me deleted all of it because it’s just me which I don’t

Anything let’s just start out by saying that but I am on a journey to grow food and do all the gardening and all the fun things that bring me joy and I know that there’s some of you out there that enjoy the same things so I wanted to do a

Video on my teeny tiny little Greenhouse this is my first year with it and let you know that you don’t have to have I would love to have acreage and acreage and acreage to grow food and flowers and all the things and share all

Of it but I don’t right now and I may never in my lifetime but I do have a tiny little house a tiny little backyard and a tiny little Greenhouse and so throughout this growing season I’m going to bring you along if nothing else it’s something for me and my grandchildren to

Look back on and see what we did right and what we did wrong cuz there’s going to be some right and there’s going to be some wrong and that’s okay but this is my first year in my Greenhouse that is only 4 by 8 ft

That’s it it’s tiny so I have to be creative about how I use the space and usually I grow grow all of my starts inside I use this shelving which is amazing but normally I stack it inside I put the grow lights the heat mats all the stuff and that’s how I

Start everything so last year for my Valentine’s anniversary birthday Mother’s Day we spent money and built this from scratch it is not high tech it is not it is literally a frame and I’ll kind of walk you through and show you it is a frame with some Timbers and some corrugated

Plastic a front door and a window that’s it but we’re going to see what we can do with it I’ve already started some seeds that have come up that I’m very very excited about I’m actually putting I’ll leave a a thing for these These are the little gnat and Bug

Catchers just because I did bring some soil from outside in here so if we get any Critters we’ll catch them quickly but look I already have lettuce and kale doing pretty dog on good I’m pretty impressed with that now mind you that’s cold weather I have started some cabbage and stuff out

Here I’m going to start some of the warmer stuff now my peppers and tomatoes I will still start inside because we eat the heck out of those and I want to make absolutely positive that those do well the seeds that I have started in here I’ve started half of the pack package so

That if it doesn’t do well I still have another half a package that I can do the old way that we’ve done it before but I really wanted to give the greenhouse a test now right now it is 75 degre in here it is like 40

Something outside I will I will put a little thing on exactly what the temperature is outside during the day this can get up to 100° so I have a door obviously with a screen and then I also have a window which is weird because there’s a fence right there and most

People are like why on Earth would you put a window there that is only for ventilation that way when it gets super hot in here I can do that and it won’t get so hot in here it’ll pull a breeze through here cuz even in the

Winter time like right now I have to open it sometimes just because it has gotten to like 95° in here so that’s a little hot I don’t want these to bolt but let me show you around like I said this is literally just we built a frame

And put it all together it’s it’s nothing fancy we’re going to do a few little touches to it this year to kind of button it up and make it a little bit cuter little flower boxes and stuff like that I’ll bring you along for that but

Let me show you some of the things that we have going on we have that is you can see out there that is my big green stock I have two of those love those if they have a sale jump on it because they are amazing now I had bought these these are

Just from Lowe’s they are okay the only thing that I would say is they are very tiny I mean you can see in comparison the pockets are very tiny they are perfect for I would say herbs and things like that anything much bigger eh beautiful full of flowers just like as a flower

Sour very very beautiful great gifts too I actually gave my mom and my mother-in-law those so that they could have Little Flower towers and things now my mom actually grows some herbs in hers but mostly flowers but it really is in a small space perfect now this is how I normally

Grow these are amazing they fold up completely flat I’m excited to be able to use them your around now and then I do we just put the heat mats in okay I’m not going to lie not the best system there little janky we have just our heating mats

Plugged in but I did need a little bit of extra heat I have been using the Terracotta cuz the Terracotta heats up so I’ve been putting those on some of the starch just to get them going we don’t have anything I literally just did these like two days ago now I

Decided this year instead of doing the little tiny cells that I was going to do just the bigger pots to start because I always start way too much then I over plant it because I can’t give it all away and I can’t bring myself to throw it

Away so I decided this year I was going to pair back we will see how that goes because once I get going I get very excited and I lose my mind we did do some starts up in the little milk jugs or distilled water jugs we

Have a couple of things popping up in those but I’ll wait to show you those when we can pull them off but let me kind of show you what we’re going to be doing this year I do hope to add some shelving I want to use some L brackets

And just get some extra shelving in here now this entire back wall I hope to be shelving just because now again we didn’t do any of the corrugated stuff back here because we have the fence so that’s not going to get any sun so there was Zero reason so this is great space

To put some more shelving and things like that I want to put some hooks up there for hanging stuff we have some little fairy lights it’s modest but it’s better than nothing and we’re working on making it a little bit better now let me show you my actual

Garden space that we use every year this is my favorite and you can make it it is completely removable if you’re in a rental or you have a space like I do let me show you so I am excited though to have you guys around for when we do

There’s a lot of things that we’re going to change in here but let me show how exciting is that we are in the first week of March right now let me show you I’m going to leave all this here for a while let me show you one of my favorite things I

Love a good Sedum that is my absolute favorite it is one of the first things to pop up it just is so exciting to see it we’re going to covering back up cuz we are expecting a little bit of snow so like I said we’re going to be

Doing a bunch of moving around of things and fixing of things here is our garden area now I have a whole video on how we did this I’m obviously we’re painting so I’m going to paint everything white and then I think I’m going to go over it

With black I really want to try black it’s paint you can always change it next year but I need to trim some stuff back and then finish those were covered in Claus so I couldn’t get to them to paint so this has to be finished before everything starts coming up but I

Do I have a whole video on how to make this it is completely removable that part’s removable all the fence pieces are removable they’re hinge so they can swing out because I have that and I know this is a mess this is what most Gardens look like right now

Kind of uh and we’re going to move this guy over and hopefully get another one of these but I had to make this removable because we have the big huge electrical box plus we have everyone’s gas meters and all the stuff so again all a process we’re going

To be moving changing some things I think I want to get another planter back there now I love these this is my second year growing in these and I love them they do have a little spet you can see or not a spet a little hole little drainage hole right

There so you can take that out so you’re not worried about like if we get torrential rains it’ll all drain out it has held up two years let me show you cuz I’ve just emptied this one out look it has not rusted it it’s perfect on the bottom I I half expected

To see some terrible like destruction under there but there really wasn’t it’s held up really really nicely so I’m excited to share all this with you guys over this spring season and summer season and how things work out and how they don’t work out it’s all going to be
