Skip the 2024 interior design Trends what do I think about that yes I agree that Trends are just that Trends and I am in love with the Staples in our interior that we all probably have things we have accumulated over the years things that trigger fond memories

In us when looking at them or holding them in our hands like inherited pieces of furniture Thrift finds we were so excited about and pieces we brought from our travels and that is how it should be because you want your home to reflect you your personality your life your

Likes I wanted to make my point that every home should be based on our individual pieces we hold dear but does that mean we cannot enjoy what’s new and exciting and my answer is no one does not exclude the other my own home is full of fins antique store finds things I

Brought home from all the countries I traveled to in my life and there were many Africa Italy Spain Portugal France Luxembourg and I could go on I have a lot of thrifted pieces and of course pieces I inherited but that does not mean that I don’t like to see the newest trends that

Are out there every year as an interior stylist and staging professional I promote using the existing pieces but infusing them with interior design Trends and ideas that match the likings and personality of the person that lives in the space is a must for me do I think we should gut our homes

And change our interior design every new year just to replace it with the newest home decor pieces that are trending on the market no absolutely not I’m a very environmentally conscious person and proud of it I grew up in Europe Germany to be precise and we were raised to be careful
