A leaf part of my bog arum that is damaged and falling away, is starting to decay. I’m wondering what that fuzz is on it is. I plan to let it be and see what happens.
It’s probably algae and I would remove it asap. That kind tends to cover everything and it’s a huge pain to get rid of for good if you let it get out of control.

Looks like water mold, not algae.
