Cannas have black seeds that are super hard to you have to scrape a little of the black off until you see the white underneath and soak in water for a few days. Plant it and it should start to sprout. You can separate the plant itself as well. There’s a great canna company out there that grows gorgeous plants. It’s called Horn Canna Farm. They ship too
