Also pulled off some of the leaves hugging the stem since i didnt want dead leaf tissue in the water and changed what shes sitting in so her sides wrent pressed into the glass; will this new glass be better or should i disinfect the old one and swap back?

reddit isnt letting me edit the post, so i wanted to add that i disinfected the cutting in a water/peroxide mix for a few minutes and right now in the water, the bottom looks pretty white. but idk how it should look out of the water/after cutting
additionally, the cutting does not feel soft at all now, not even the slight amount that was there before
